ik how to get to the farlands in beta1.8 and UP
thanks to the new launcher you can do this by editing your profile
FAR LANDS ENTRANCE
1: go to the launcher (new not old)
2: select BETA 1.7.3
3: play minecraft 1.7.3 beta and make a new world
4: leave minecraft and enter 1.3.1 and up
5: play minecraft again at the current update
6: dont go crazy if you have to travel 1000000 blocks becus the next few step will teach you how
7: go to the ESC menu and find OPEN TO LAN
8: in the open to LAN select Cheats ON then start LAN connection
9: /tp 12000 65 566
10: i dont remember the coords so those are a guess
DONE!
