Very glad to able to find this revived thread. I was fearing that VonDoomcraft was gone forever. And wow you are adding more and more mods and stuff into the mix. I hope it still plays well with my shaders!

The level of detail for the trains is incredible. The tracks are super smooth.
Had fun puttering around for a good while!
Heres hoping you are able to keep hammering away on this. Good work.

    posted a message on Pam's Mods - May 14th, 2018 - 1.12.2u Released
Yay! I was just going to wander by and see what was going on, and now I see we haz some actual updates!
Gosh where to start. Um, first I am happy to see the patreon page, I will be getting together with my "account manager" and demand a small stipend be sent there until the end of days.
And then theres this word of a job? And not just a job, a job that does not totally stink? I would actually say thats the best thing ever for your morale.
Last I want to put here is the very obvious observation that you are still willing to continue to make modifications for Minecraft. Oh and now I have to alter my signature to reflect the new page.
Thank you for still being here!

    posted a message on [1.6.X/1.5.2/Others]Pam's Mods - Feb 9th (I'm Back!)
Well I am actually glad to see Pam post here once more! Was afraid RL had taken over again (pesky thing).
Not sure if it is a note of encouragement but,the longest I myself went without a actual full time job was 3-4 months. And let me tell ya those ketchup sammitches were awesome. Especially since the local fast food restaurant supplied the packets of ketchup. But now I have a fairly decent job paying fairly good. And its the longest stint of working ever.
    So hang in there Pam!

I have seen plenty of people posting here that have a good idea as to the amount of actual effort that goes into making a freely distributed modification with the depth and scope of what you have created Pam. And I for one am glad to see that you are still caring enough to post back as to your progress during such a period in your life.

Not sure as to what direction they are taking Minecraft in, but from my view it appears that they are VERY slowly lurching towards making the game actually able to be modified even easier. Much to the horror of some of my friends. They were exclaiming that "then just ANYBODY could make mods! Imagine the awful rushed mods that would come pouring forth!" But then there are people like you Pam that hang in there and get it done when they can, and try and make sure it is done right.

Well there is my mini rant. Hopefully you are well and happy Pam.
(P.S. the kids miss your burgers)

    Hello again Pam!
Stopping by to see hows it going. Reading a few pages back I see you were fighting off a bought of sickness. Got a run of something making the rounds in my house as well.
Hopefully everything calms down a bit for you soon. Will drop by again later! The kids were wondering why I did not have any REAL flowers in my little LAN server. "You know, those nice ones you have always had." Ha. They like your flowers/crops way more than the recent ones that they have added to Vanilla Minecraft. So I promised I would check in.

All portions of this mod are working great for my little LAN server.
My lil girl was ticked that the Nyan Cat picture was flipping. But so far MY favorite bit is the radio! OMG so good. Now I don't have to constantly hunt down random ****ing chests everywhere for just ONE record.
No crashes even with the other 20 or so mods.

Have not had a chance to inspect the config files to see if i can force other foods to cook in the oven.
    But really man great work!

Yay, a decent gun mod for 1.6.2! Kinda high end stuff. I actually like the extra recoil, makes them seem more powered up. Sound effects are nice too. Thank you for the great effort.

This is just my usual note of encouragement. As always Pams Mods Is the deciding factor in when I update my Minecraft. I do not see horses as enough of a "bump" to supersede the awesomeness that is Pams Mods.

So please take your time (as you normally do) and continue the really good work that is done here. Occasionally I feel bad that I have nothing I can say other than that this is the best thing that can be added to my Minecraft worlds.

Again great job so far. I certainly hope that the most recent 1.6 update does not prove to be so daunting that you do not feel up the challenge! After looking at it myself, I wonder that more people have not simply rage quit just over the resource pack/texture pack change.

To quote a person I know "I really don't want to deal with this. Sometimes you just want to relax and play some Minecraft ya know".

Pam, it is super to see you have made it this far and still doing such a great job of coding your mod. Farming would not be the same without it. Also happy to hear your health has improved! I was actually slightly worried for a bit there.

But in any case, just stopping by to write out a short note of encouragement for you.

posted a message on The Camping Mod
Stopping by with a story that just happened and it involves your camping mod.
Me and the kids were in a field with all our tents set up and the campfire was going. We were in a field area some distance away from the main base, so we could do some serious grass cutting for seeds (Pams mods). my lil girl got hungry so she went to dig into her backpack, and it had texture glitched. So she could not find it. i suggested she log off and back on real quick so it would show back up. When she logged back in, she did not look down at her keyboard and pressed the "Q" button (item tossing). And just happened to be the correct distance from the campfire to chuck her entire pack in the fire. Now instead of crying about it she giggled about it and said that now the marshmallows were all crispy. But was sad that she could not dig them out of the fire because it was too hot. Now her little brother was watching this happen and so he got over there and tossed HIS pack in too. I was like WHY. And he said he wanted burnt marshmallows as well.

This mod fits in just fine with the massive amount of other mods i have jammed into my minecraft this time.
Felt the need to stop by and let you know how much I like the effort you have put into getting this to function correctly.
    Please continue the fine work!

I would like to thank you very much for updating the pchan3 airship. This is the best way to actually do any amount of actual world exploration! My IDResolver tells me I still have much more room in Minecraft to cram in more mods and this will be a welcome addition.
