Oh, Ray. People like Xaivern and his supporters have been taking credit for other's artwork since the Renaissance. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything you could say or do to help them understand - Xiavern said himself he doesn't consider "a bunch of damn pixels" to be art that is worthy of protecting.
If the moderation team had any backbone whatsoever, they would remove Xiavern's thread and waste their time policing his packs (Someone clearly has to from now on); and I would encourage anyone reading to periodically check his .zip files and report the download link if it contains any copied or derivative work of Frendens.
I really hope this experience hasn't ruined the enjoyment you get from creating artwork for the community - there are dozens of us who truly appreciate the hardwork you put into it (even if we can't show you we care through paypal)

32x would be sooooo much easier, admittedly. I think it's almost cheating, it's so easy. :tongue.gif:
I might - who knows? I'm making this from tiles for a game I'm working on. It's a 2D game with lowres tiles. I'm learning 3D and may need higher res textures for future game concepts that would lend themselves to use for Minecraft. I dunno. Never say never.

Frenden, since you seem to want more detail in your packs now, and I know you love the 16x format, but I was wondering if you would consider making a 32x pack in the future? even the far future? ^^
I'll be honest....i hate this texture pack as it doesn't look realish or my stytle I dislike the cartooney feel of this texturepack......BUT....I find myself downloading it for the skeleton mod and creeper mob. I love their 32 bit textures :3 good work to whoever did them. (Great job!)

Oh you didn't want to seem rude? Sorry sir, but you have failed. Also, "whoever did them"? "Whoever"? This is a original pack made by Frenden, you know, the guy from the original post. The one that has the download link? -apparently the only thing you have managed to read from that post.
By the way, moderators really should start implementing the [remix] tag rule on all the non-original packs out there (is it a rule yet? should be). Would avoid this type of confusion (lazy reading).
Frenden, my honest opinion about the grass in any pack is that it should try to be as simple as possible, that way you can avoid some of those artifacts in the graphics you see when you look at a large landscape. Your other pack is one of the few that achieves this actually.
The details are getting really really nice! Good idea to launch it as a new pack, avoids a lot of drama! why don't you go ahead and make it three packs? Classic, Pirate and 'Ornate Gothic'? But I guess maintenance of 3 packs can be a hassle.
Very nice pack. I usually only like very clean 16x or a nice detailed 32x, but your work on the 16x size is amazing.
It is a wonderfull improvement on the original textures, and it still gives that feeling of a fresh minecraft intall, but without all the noise I came to hate so much on the original texture. I also love your choice of serene and bright colors where it needs to be. Mad props to you sir!
