Oh sure. Multiple times (over 10) due to freaking Ubuntu Linux just crashing and eating itself alive. I swear, I'm never going to touch Linux again, I had to reinstall it literally every month or so. I lost countless precious worlds. *sigh*

No I seriously doubt it. They never have put the game on sale ever. I'm guessing you probably don't have any money and want to try to get Minecraft for cheap on christmas and seriously, just buy it. Its really not that expensive, and its completely worth every single penny.

So happy this is finally out, I heard about it about a year ago and ever since I've been waiting for it. Notch is practically my role model as I'm also a programmer and love to develop games. I just look at his success and hope that someday I'll be at least marginally as successful as him!

Ok first, PLEASE learn how to spell words like skeleton etc... Its very annoying to try to read misspelled words.
1. Mushroom biomes are supposed to be very rare. You really thought you were going to find one in your first 5 worlds?! I've made close to 100 worlds and I haven't seen one yet. They aren't supposed to be common so they are special.
2. Those mobs are supposed to be rare so you have to work to find them. Minecraft would be boring if you came across spider jockeys or slimes every 20 minutes.
3. Again, these ores are special, and are designed to make you try to find them. If you could just find 64 emeralds in the first hour of you starting a world, wouldn't it be a lot less fun?
No support. Why? Well because Minecraft isn't supposed to be easy. You sound like someone that doesn't want to actually work at finding special ores, biomes etc... Minecraft is already too easy as it is; with your ideas Minecraft will become a noobish sort of game. Whats the fun in mining if you find rare ores every 5 minutes? The whole idea behind survival is exactly that; survival. Its not to be handed everything.

Also; please use the correct form of to. Most of the time you are using to when you should be using too. Learn some grammar.

Giants are for some reason actually in the code, however they don't spawn. They also have next to no AI, and so they don't do anything. I would love giants, but they need to be smaller than they currently are. Maybe 3 times the player size? Support.

Lapis has already been confirmed to be just a decorative block, and there will be no uses for it besides dying things. Sorry but no support.

Ok I have a couple reactions. One, it would be cool to have something like a mod picker. However, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube and google, just go watch them please!? Plenty of other people have figured it out, its not rocket science. Besides, to choose a mod with your idea, it would still require the player to put the mod in the .minecraft folder. If you get that far, why not just install the mod yourself, its not hard.

Ok for one, google is your best friend, use it for once. The MCLauncher by Digiex provides exactly what you're looking for. Secondly, stop complaining and play the damn game or don't.

You need to host it then. I can almost guarantee no one will give you one for free. Sorry.

I had to sign in just to say this. Have you ever even touched Windows 8? It runs far faster than 7 even after dozens of programs are installed. Windows 7 in terms of speed would slow to a halt with the same amount of programs. Also, Metro is more of a place to pin programs for a sort of quick launch screen. And guess what? That extra speed that you gain from using Windows 8 allows you to have a smoother and less laggy minecraft experience. Please, actually use something before complaining about it.
