wouldn't mind joining if invites are still being handed out.
3. meh redstone capabilities, eh command block knowledge, a vive if you'll let it, sizeable buildings if its worth it.
4. fairly small community, vanilla minecraft without plugins / mods, hard difficulty hopefully, amplified terrain would be a bonus, being left to do my own thing for a while then perhaps integrate more with other people once I am a bit better established.
when i say we both can test it, I mean you can spectate me using it: sprint next to each other, mine blocks, swim... what ever, just to make sure none of that happens any faster because of this mod that is suppose to be for compatibility. I've used it for a bit on single player and couldn't notice a difference myself... I am yet to try elytra; that will probably be an instant vomit fest , but hey... FOR SCIENCE!!!
yup that is all fine by me, I am looking for vanilla, I was pretty much just stating I knew cmd blocks cause i see other people being like:
fighting: practically a god/10"
If you don't want to use them, I am all the more happier for it because it means I don't have to script them (it can get tedious and a little draining after a while).
With the vive; the mod it uses, I am pretty sure is only client side. Its only function I am aware of is it makes the game compatible for vive (so i get to see the world in 3D and my arms moving around in it). I know it has a teleport thing for people that get motion sick, but lucky for me, I don't get that anymore so I should be walking around just like everyone else. I can play without using it at all for a few days/ weeks so you can see I am trustworthy and then we could both test it and make sure it doesn't grant any advantages at all.... I suspect the opposite is true (trying to craft and manage inventory is almost as annoying as the xbox version, but at least it uses the pc method of recipe memorisation and not xbox menus... thank god).
I am guessing I didn't make the cut :(... If it's about the vive thing, like I said, i'd only use it on occasion, and not at all if it causes any issues. I use to play on centural.co but if you went there now you would see what I mean about the seemingly abandoned command block experiment state of the server. Also don't expect me to ask for op, I just want to play survival, but I can use command blocks if it was ever needed for things like teleport systems, homes systems, grief protection; that sort of thing. I use to help out a bit with that back on centural, even got to run my own sister server to the main one for a little while but there wasn't enough interest.
I am interested in your particular realm because you have it set to hard survival, with amplified terrain, and its vanilla which mean utilising actual knowledge of the game to get anywhere rather than relying on some shop plug-in, or pvp arena @[email protected] Again I don't grief or pvp, I tend to play as a recluse until I have something worth showing off and even then I am super picky about who gets to see because coordinates are the last thing you want getting into the wrong hands... Luckily last time it happened on centural the thing I had built was too big to even really be possible to grief without some serious dedication (explosions and such were turned off).
Up to you, but I wouldn't mind getting into it for a while.
ps, is typing all this stuff out just making it increasingly less likely that i'll be added? You can tell I am new to these forums, not really sure what's the standard.
Hey, was wondering if you would be cool with me trying to use a vive on your realm? It relies on a mod called vivecraft which I have no idea if it is realm compatible or not... It seemed to be fine when I logged into a completely vanilla server (I use to play on and do some command block scripting for) that since I left it, looks like it is being used for command block experiments in the middle of a void; so I am thinking the vive should work on realms. I tried looking at servers for vive but they have so many plugins and such that it no longer feels like vanilla. I only intend to use the vive every so often to check builds and the amplified terrain out but i'd mainly do building and such with pc (it's far easier and more convenient).
I also wanted to know where the realm stands on griefing / stealing. I never do it, but I like the added challenge of making hidden builds and every so often avenging those that are pillage and plundered.
Aside from that I have an okish understanding of command blocks (have to constantly consult the wiki for formatting because it's forever changing, and sometimes tutorials for refreshers) if you ever felt the need to do something basic with those.
