I believe you might mean an ABBA circuit, or reversible signal generator. If it is that what you are looking for, check in here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/892820-ultimate-collection-of-redstone-circuit-designs/#ABBA
Also, take some time to look at the other designs. It might help you.

Good work ;D
Could you please explain again how the sorting works (e.g. the properties of mobs` behaviors used)?
I didn`t quite get it from the video.. thanks!
Feb 22, 2012It`s like the tenth time I see a topic about this. It`s ok, you didn`t know. However, this must end.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
It should now become common knowledge that there is this glitch that causes torches to stop working correctly. That is NOT new at all. Just restart the game, if it doesnt`t work, check your circuitry or keep trying.
You are welcome, everybody.

I have a clock that I am working on, fairly compact (compared with other clocks) and a piston display. It was working fine up until 1.1, where all of the torches near the beginning of the circuit were burning out the moment they changed state (on to off). The would not turn back on again.. The only solution was to replace the torches every time I needed them to change. Which is quite often.
Is anybody else having problems with torches burning out more in 1.1? Does anybody have any solutions? I enjoy responses. :smile.gif:
From what I recall, this is old. Been here long before 1.1, old bug. I call these "haunted spots", blocks in which placed torches burn out without apparent reason (for example, you connect a button to the torch, press it, and the torch doesn`t light up anymore). I`ve had this problem many times before, quite a headache. What would work for me as a solution was to restart minecraft. Try that, and see how that works for you.

nyancat dont hijack this guys thread :tongue.gif: Be a big girl/boy and make your own
Yes sorry about that, i`m a big lazy boy and I saw this as a perfect opportunity because I based my elevator on this one.
Jan 11, 2012Sorry for making the world invalid, but no it doesn`t really work on smp, not worth the try! Too fast. The main difference was compactness. That`s it. I only use the green wool to go up, and the blue to go down (though I later made the down part much smaller)Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms

guys, my horizontal one is only 1 block wide, how the hell did i copy from a design with 2?!?! and my vertical one uses the zipper concept with friggin alternating blocks, no redstone needed for both except for the 1st level and the last..
AND YOU TELL ME I RIPPED IT OFF FROM SOMEONE ELSE?!?!
ARE YOU FRIGGIN SERIOUS?!?!
mine only needs 2 redstone torches/repeaters PER LEVEL with the fastest possible rate of 1tick / block moved, STOPPABLE and most compact that you could possible create in game
Did you actually see My elevator? Its in the link i posted before. How in hell is that different from what you did?!??

An odd experiment could be making very fast note block music. Someone ought to try some Dragonforce music.
This doesn`t get anywhere near to music, but is a beginning. My prototype:
Noteblocks playing odd sounds:
How to propagate the signal(repeaters and torches don`t respond):

Well his quad thing was awesome, too bad there are only a few views...this should have spread more..
Anyways, I still think there is not a modular setup. Anyone feeling like "Challenge Accepted"?
