Mar 1, 2011I went to a lake where they are plentiful, bug a minecart track under them. and created a whirl pool type thing to pull them in this hole. Then they float down a small canal and drop in a mine cart, where i transport them back home.Posted in: Survival Mode
Mar 1, 2011I over do transportation, ill have massive bridge systems that are extremely decorated, minecarts going in every direction, canals for boats. But my house look like **** regardless, oh and i burn down forrest all the time.Posted in: Survival Mode
Mar 1, 2011Posted in: Survival ModeQuote from Judasremains »I had a pet chicken. We were the closest of friends, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the non-sequitur of my discontent. I was working on a project when I approached a little one block hole that was an entrance before night came, and in the dare, I say, cutest thing I've ever seen in Minecraft, my soon-to-be little buddy, popped his head right out.
Being a man, I had never seen something happy to see me before and it, nay, he, seemed legitimately happy to see me.
I immediately named him Kenneth, no, not Ken, never Ken, he was Kenneth.
He followed me throughout my project, playing in the water and chicken-noising happily, his feathers became a damp gray in the cold water, but his smile never dimmed.
The next morning, after we had bonded throughout the night. I broke open that tiny entrance where we had first met, and the water outside had allowed an abomination to live through the morning. It approached and fired, a skeleton, and thi-wip went his bow, sending a shot that would have taken my last remaining heart and killed me, but in a twist of fate, it only took my heart. Brave Kenneth, leapt through the air in front of me as I backed away cowardly, the arrow struck him dead centre, leaving behind a single feather.
I took that feather, and despite my precarious situation, knocked out another block and I beat that skeleton to death. I then built a nice, albeit inglorious coffin for him, and then this nice, simple grave site to remember him by.
I made something for you...
Feb 28, 2011Posted in: Survival ModeQuote from Equeon »Quote from not_a_creeper »im going to say what i always say, If you dont like it dont use it.
no one is forcing you, and you shouldnt care how other people are playing the game
I'm guessing from your generic repeated response that doesn't specifically apply to this topic that you didn't even read my entire post.
No i did read it, It still all comes down to a matter of opinion.
Tbh if i dont wanna deal with the night i will sit in my house, and wait till day. With a bed i can skip all that waiting and get back to doing what i wanna do. which makes it more fun for me.
Now if you like the night time then you dont need to use the bed, and you can go out and fight monsters to your hearts content.
The nice thing is this is a sandbox game so every player can make it fun for them.
Feb 26, 2011Alright lets admit it, most have us have shoved a family of sheep off a cliff, used a fishing pole to pull that pig into a lava pit Or sent a cow in a mine cart flying at max speed off a cliff onto a spike pit made from fences.Posted in: Survival Mode
So what have you guys done that could be considered evil?
The most evil thing i have done is to create a machine using 8 dispensers that launches hundreds of chicken eggs into a wall. Now the chickens will spawn and float down, into a pit of lava of corse. And the infants that are splattered on the wall are a nice addition to the room. They are also close enough to lava that it kinda cooks the yolks and it smells like a Dennys in there.

Sketch of my current project (took me a whopping 15 minutes)
and the current state of it.
Its comin along, sorry for the double post.
I wouldn't mind helping you on this project!
I am quite good at finding these unique locations, and I just love working with water!
Not to mention cliff building (Built Cliffton)
When you pop on, and I'm on, I'll come help ya out if you wish so.
Haha that sounds great, well this is actually a single player map right now, would like to get it put in the server soon tho. as it is currently in habited by signs but i could use some help on some of the bigger projects. did just finish my "lost" library and "auto sacrificer"
