    Hello everyone! I would be posting an update today, but I've decided that I will put out artwork for the upcoming BOSS BATTLE!. So, the update will, sadly, have to wait. Should I finish the artwork (which I likely will), the update will be tomorrow.

    The artwork I did yesterday was for the Persecles Subplot, which should be joining up with the main plot soon, given time!

    The dry spell for updates has passed. So, you guys can post some more! Thursday I'll finish up that art project I was working on.

    The Inferno Tower prepares to lock onto a target, seeing no high value targets in play.


    Ninjatwist_ disengages from the Shotgun Mook, whips out his pistol and fires 3 shots at an Assault Rifle Mook, dealing 9 damage!

    The Player Archers charge their shots.

    The Red Shirts attack the Spear Mooks, capitalizing on their Fear state! They deal 4 damage to each!

    The Anti-Mook Turret deals 2 damage to the two Sniper Rifle Mooks!

    The Lesser Elementals assist the Red Shirts against the Spear Mooks, dealing 2 damage to each Mook!

    The Underground Base Droids deal 4 damage to 3 Assault Rifle Mooks!


    The Mooks Leader witnesses the death of his retinue and flees to the back line with his single Powered Sword Mook! Regardless, he is more vulnerable than he was with his Command Squad.


    The Powered SMG Mooks spray down the Red Shirts, dealing 12 damage in total!

    The Spear Mooks manage to counterattack, despite their fear! They attack the Elementals, dealing 2 damage to each!

    The Hammer Mooks deal 16 damage to the Underground Base!

    The Assault Rifle Mooks fire on the Underground Base in hopes of collapsing it! They deal 8 damage to the structure, collapsing it! Since no one bothered to pick up the Potions and they were a waste of bookkeeping, they are destroyed as well!

    The Shotgun Mook comes to the defense of the Spear Mooks! He fires a single shot into the Shoggoth, which deals 2 damage!

    The Sniper Rifle Mooks open fire on the Shoggoth, dealing 10 damage!

    The Powered Sword Mook is focused on bodyguarding the Mook Leader.


    The Shoggoth retaliates towards the Shotgun Mook and deals 6 damage, consuming him and restoring 6 health!


    The Acolyte uses a small amount of his Dark Magic Meter to cast a dark wave over his forces, making them immune to psychological status effects for next turn!


    2 Well-Armored Sword Mooks and a second squad of 4 Spear Mooks emerge from the woods.

    Hello everyone! I am back! Also, because of the upcoming holidays (at least in America), expect me to release lots of content, whether it's artwork or updates. Anyways, this update is going to be a 1/3-update to ease me back into the schedule.

    Nyarlathotep Cultists:

    • Rituals allow the Cultists to summon things, give entites buffs/debuffs, or deal damage
    • The Charges are similar to Player Charges but will be specifed beforehand to show what they can do (IE: Black Hand 1/6 Attack or Eternal 1/15 Entity)
    • The Cultists are within the Base as to prevent them from getting autonuked by the furious assault
    • Each of them contribute a single charge point every turn they are alive and the charge will autoused the next turn upon completion as the ritual will be described in my post as to what it did and then will have another charge already going automatically

    They begin their life on the Battlefield with Baby's First Ritual 1/3


    Nyarly then smiles at his victory over the Mook Vehicle by killing a 4 HP Power Sword Mook by popping the cork on some champagne and sending the cork through the head of a Mook

Not considering Sniper Rifle mode, as it is not hiding and not a sponge for other mobs. But the Yeti may be able to pass the Speed Test, which results in extra pain for me.


    I then decided using the High-Powered Shielder's Laser Gunblade with the Sword mode, which I powers and start to sprint. When I see the Yeti, I jumped up, sword swinging, and swiped on it Yeti, hard. The Yeti was pushed off into a distance. I then was gasping for breath. Something is wrong with me.

    Coming back to this game has made me realize how game-breaking these things have become! I'll be sure to do a revamp of items once we get into Act 2, because clearly not having any rules on it has let you guys abuse the system.

    Hello everyone! I've got an important announcement to make. My weekend is pretty booked, since I both have a hike and, since my parents are impulsive buyers of movie tickets, I'll be shanghai'd to two movies at once this weekend, which introduces a train wreck in my planning. As such, you should not expect an update anytime soon, since I'll be working on homework and going around everywhere! However, while this may not give enough time for a good update, I will try to get some artwork for the next update done in the future.


    There will be no updates for about half a week due to scheduling issues on my part.


    However, I did realize one wish I had came true, even if it's only one... back on my considerably older forum game, Brothers in Harms (Please don't try going back to it, it's been dead for well over a year!), I lamented that my forum game didn't last as long as it could have. This one has lasted well over a year, and it's still going well! I'm pretty proud that I've made a forum game with some sense of longevity in it. And who knows... once this game draws to a close, I might set up a revival for Brothers in Harms. Although I don't imagine the ending of this game happening anytime soon.

    I find Shotguns incredibly easy to book-keep, since there's no additional miss chance to calculate.

    The Good luck with that charge is a thing which summons a ridiculously powerful (sometimes very complicated) ally to aid the [AA] forces which can take up to 650 charge points however this will take forever without assists and boosters... (Glad there is a Rusty Fridge which boost my charge points when if I use it however I did not take any damage somehow...)

    As I said before, the snow is pretty much blastproof, so you'll need to find (not make) an item that'll let you dig through it.

    Hello everyone. You may wonder what I'm doing updating right now! The story goes that I was going to update Thursday, but my friend who I don't get to see very often said that he can play then, so that would really mess up my update schedule. However, an opening came up tonight, when I realized that I forgot to take home an assignment I was going to do tonight, which is due Friday. Anyhow, this will be a 1/2 update, which I will likely be able to complete on Friday, since Thursday is going to be busy for me to say the least.

    Your playstyle has definitely been on more of the "play to win" side with using some of the more boring but effective tactics, at least in my view. Until you started up your sidequest...

    You'd have enough gear on you to take on any monsters in the cave anyhow... Besides, it's not like this holds some climactic story-important boss in the game.

    They do have the name of Red Shirts, meaning they're supposed to go into the thick of combat to die en-masse (for the Good Guys, that's what separates them from their Mook kin). Although the en-masse part is strangely lacking, so I gave them armor to compensate. Honestly, I'm surprised they've lived this long.

    *ding* I received an item. I then open it and see a brand new Block of heat. Deciding that such block is a ore block, I use my hand crafting table and place the Block of Heat in it. That came out the Infernomite, albeit unrefined. Black in colour, the ingot have red streaks running over it. I then try to do a simple crafting: To place 1 unrefined Infernomite in order to boost the Pyroantistaff and see what comes out.




    You place your ear further and hear the sound of water striking stone... there must be more hidden depths than a simple snow cave.

    You create the Infernomite Incinestaff! This is capable of blasting great gouts of flame, but it loses the ability to conduct ice and has a chance of harming you whenever you use it. Thankfully, the chance is low.
