    Haven't been here in a while, feels nice to be back!

    Sonicether has been nice enough to take some of my input into the shaders mod, and I've contributed some code. He and Karyonix have been doing an incredible job, and I love where the mod has been going recently. I'm starting to dust off some of my old code and start work on a new version; no promises, but it's in the works! ;) Just for reference, though, the current version definitely works in 1.6.

    I'll keep you guys posted,

    Cheers,
    Naelego

    Sounds great man! Good to know you're back. Excited for the possible new release of these!

    Good to see the thread is back up! Really excited for the upcoming release of your vibrant shaders, and the acid shaders are awesome! It's great that someone finally has revived world curvature in the shaders world.

    Keep up the great work Sildur! However would it be possible for you to make entities move along with the world? It just looks kind of odd to see mobs floating above the waving land.

    Soooo....world cuvature in 1.6.2 = bad idea :P

    Do you want the source Karyonix? You may got an idea how to port it over to this damn 1.6.2 :P

    If you can get a world curvature shader working that would be awesome! There aren't any around anymore so it's a great idea!

    It looks like your MC162 Forge install is corrupt, or you modded the JAR installing something else?

    Client> 2013-08-09 19:22:50 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The minecraft jar file:/C:/Users/Markus/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/versions/1.6.2-Forge9.10.0.804/1.6.2-Forge9.10.0.804.jar!/net/minecraft/client/ClientBrandRetriever.class appears to be corrupt! There has been CRITICAL TAMPERING WITH MINECRAFT, it is highly unlikely minecraft will work! STOP NOW, get a clean copy and try again!
    Client> 2013-08-09 19:22:50 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] For your safety, FML will not launch minecraft. You will need to fetch a clean version of the minecraft jar file
    Client> 2013-08-09 19:22:50 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Technical information: The class net.minecraft.client.ClientBrandRetriever should have been associated with the minecraft jar file, and should have returned us a valid, intact minecraft jar location. This did not work. Either you have modified the minecraft jar file (if so run the forge installer again), or you are using a base editing jar that is changing this class (and likely others too). If you REALLY want to run minecraft in this configuration, add the flag -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true to the 'JVM settings' in your launcher profile.
    Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)

    I would back up your mods/saves, and dump the entire .minecraft folder. Download a fresh MC162, and run it original. Then use the forge installer, and run forge alone. Then add in Shaders, and run with forge/shaders. Then add in your mods again. Then add in your saves.

    I had a similar problem as well. My Forge and minecraft jars were not corrupt and I tried downloading fresh ones multiple times. The only way I was able to bypass this was by adding the JVM argument it tells you to add to ignore the invalid certificates. However I did not try a complete wipe of my .minecraft folder, as adding the JVM argument worked.

    Yup, I saw that the newest one on their forums was 804 versus the 790 that I had downloaded a few days ago and with 804 its working just fine thanks!!

    With the LB Realism 256 bit texture pack, Sildurs RC3 NV Medium shaders and this mod.....2FPS. Was kinda hoping my 2GB GTX650 Ti Boost, Phenom II X4 955 and 4GB of RAM would do better.

    That card should run that pack decently. Try a 128x texturepack instead.

    Add this 2 lines at the top of composite1.fsh

    /* GAUX4FORMAT:RGB32F */
    /* GNORMALFORMAT:RGB32F */

    Warning: This will lower the fps!

    It worked! Thanks so much Sildur, I had no idea how to fix that or why it was even happening. Your new RC3 packs are amazing!

    I have encountered a strange bug that I have never seen anyone post before. When I look at water from specific angles a black circle appears and it gets bigger the further my cursor moves away from its center point. It did not used to happen, I'm not sure what is the cause of this. I'm currently using Sildur's RC3 shaderpacks, but it happens with other shaderspacks too.

    Sorry then I guess you're out of luck because the newest beta drivers cause this issue. I don't know any other way of fixing this.

    Having a problem every-time i start a world it goes white screen and have to close the process in the task manager. Except when I turn on lite then it just turns into alpha but with absolutely no shadow at all.

    And why Sonic shadersmod 2.0 incompatible with other shaderpacks?For example: when I change to Chocapic's13 Shaders WIP-4 everything is red?

    6. Switching between some shaderpacks will cause errors. This is something that I am working on. In order to get rid of these errors, simply restart Minecraft.

    When I switch to the shader, the screen is black. I can move around fine, and i can break blocks, but i cant see anything.

    Make sure you're using Sonic's distribution of the GLSL shaders mod. This will happen if you use them with karyonix's.

    Erm... I installed it correctly and it works fine but... For some reason all the blocks look like how they used to in minecraft Alpha. It's not my PC which is the problem because I had a backup of minecraft 1.5.2 except without GLSL Shaders installed, only optifine. And the textures looked fine. I think it may be a problem with the new "shaders 2.00 mod" or maybe my Geforce GTX 650 isn't compatible with it.

    GTX 650 is compatible with it, I use one. Are you using the latest GeForce Beta drivers? If so don't. Are you sure everything is installed correctly?
