I have just watched the 2.0 update videos for like the 30th time now, and i still just can't wait for the 2.0 update. And the map is perfect (best portal map i have ever seen) and i hope you keep up the good work Leggos! :smile.gif:
EDIT: At the start i didn't spawn with any advanced knee replacements and yeah what Fireblaze said, wasn't there (no cube) and at the end (of chamber 17) the door has a redstone torch that opens it, so i didn't actually need to put a cube on the plate.
Those are the only things i found wrong.
The launcher is near 90% finished. Only a few things left.
Google have their own derivative of Ubuntu. Its just not publicly available. From what little I gather its basically a default ubuntu distro with a few software's that google use alot and drivers for the hardware used in google buildings. Essentially a large scale remaster/backup disk.
Otherwise, not a bad idea. Google do seem to have a monopoly on alot of things at the moment but unlike microsoft its a good monopoly. We get what we want rather than some company getting cash for things we don't want.
I don't think the operating system market is one for profit. So many people want such different things that its impossible to have a product for each, which is where heavily customisable environments like linux come in.
Hmm, google doesn't appear to be in the dictionary for google chrome.
There are very few trojans and virus's for linux anyway. Most of those target servers as it seems to cause a little more chaos to the world. Theres a few rootkits but most of theses don't seem to do any harm.
I do wish google would release the GUI for other linux distro's. It would make for a nice lightweight distro. I would still stick with Gnome or KDE but nice to have the option. Guess I could just get chromium though if I needed it.
I think Google should make a desktop-oriented derivative of Ubuntu. In my opinion, Google has a fantastic team of development - the work they put into Chrome, Chrome OS, their countless web services, Chrome plugins is unbelievable. Plus, people like them. It would boost the popularity of Linux in general. How would that be profitable? OEMs could pay a small fee per computer that comes with Google's distro.
The suspense is killing me! I want to be the first to record this so I can upload to Machinima Realm! :happy.gif: EEEPPP Canttt wwwaaiiittt!
Well, I have to freaking get my launcher to download from crappy hosts like hotfile and wupload... Without direct linking.
And I don't think that uploading a video of an unfinished map is a good idea, because a lot of things are likely to change (e.g. normal minecraft doors into my sliding doors, which probably will not be in the first preview). That's just my opinion though...
At least one Gigabyte dedicated graphics as well.....Windows 7....Java is essential of course.....Good Screen Size (randomly though that up but it's not that important as other things).....anyone else think of anything?
Get the [BEEP] out.
At other posters: I don't think that he will be able to afford a 2500k, because he needs a monitor and an OS.

But yes, you are doing well. I wish I had that much free time.
