This vanilla SMP server is not imaginary, but sure is perfect! Welcome to the Utopia SMP forum thread.
Utopia SMP is a survival multiplayer server looking for applicants to join the community. We are looking for players who enjoy the simple vanilla Minecraft where players interact with each other and build a tight community.
The server is running 24/7 on the latest edition of Java Minecraft (1.16.1) and welcomes people to apply from wherever in the world.
The server is whitelisted. Please fill in an application after reading conditions to be considered to join.

Being a virtual Utopia requires some conditions as well as rules to ensure we maintain this state of perfectness.
Conditions imposed on the server include:
1. The weather cycle is turned off; no more annoying rain
2. Spawn protection is set to avoid people destroying spawn or gaining supplies illegitimately
3. One player sleep; no more having to wait for everyone to sleep
4. Anti creeper grief; to ensure creepers do not destroy our perfect builds
Rules imposed on the server include:
1. No griefing/stealing from other players
2. Do not be a nuisance
3. Use common sense with being a respectful player on a server

Why do you want to join:[/b] I live in Melbourne, Australia and we've gone into full lockdown for the next 6 weeks and I am bored out of my mind, so I am looking to start a solid foundation on a vanilla server. I have been apart of many vanilla servers in the years that I have been playing Minecraft and thoroughly enjoy the communities that arise and the sense of connection that you get when playing with other players in Minecraft. The map looks great, seeing there are many islands makes me excited to join and I have big plans for building my base on an island.
