Jul 20, 2009nick_gc posted a message on How to Port-Forward your Minecraft Server (With Pictures)When did I exactly say that it did? My point is that this type of fiddling shouldn't be required. But thanks for your useful input, nonetheless.Posted in: Legacy Support
Jul 20, 2009nick_gc posted a message on How to Port-Forward your Minecraft Server (With Pictures)OK, so I've done everything the tutorial said and I'm getting that my UDP port is "not open or not reachable". I haven't done anything wrong like the tutorial says because I followed it to the letter. I've got a Sagem Sky router and the only part it failed on in the update was the very last step which is pressing a second "apply" button, assuming this because I couldn't see one to press in the HTML window it shows next to the list of commands it's doing. TCP port checking comes back fine and when looking at the current port exceptions, it's showing 25565 UDP as open.Posted in: Legacy Support
I hope these little niggles get sorted for Minecraft's official release because you shouldn't really have to fiddle like this to get it to work.
