    I'm not going to say which plugins we have and which ones we don't have, but we do have plugins to help out the server. However it is vanilla server so we do not have a world border plugin, and we regularly backup the map along side with a map auto save every hour and a half. So the server is very well managed. I wouldn't spend money on it if it wasn't.

    I understand that you don't want to reveal your plugin list, because you would probably anguish when other people copy and modify it. I used to be server admin on several types of servers, player on some other servers, and had hosted two servers, so I understand very well about that. I also know what problems vanilla or other types of servers usually run into. However, I trust you and I will give this server a try, then give recommendations after if neccessary. I have always enjoyed vanilla features of minecraft, and have always disliked the competitive environment of other types of minecraft servers. Vanilla minecraft to me is a relaxed, fun, and creative world. Because of this, I wish to furhter enhance that pleasant experience through playing with other friendly minecrafters. I trust shaquinda19 to be a good host, and GrizzlyCraft to be a good server. Therefore, I wish to join its community and contribute to it. Also, I haven't played minecraft for a while, so I'm looking forward to learn from other players :P
    Anything extra that we may want to know about you?: You guys won't see me online very often because my top priority at the moment is school -_- . I'm a busy junior and can only spare little time for game.

    Hi, I was going to apply but this announcement bothered me. Will there be more map renewal happening? Also, do you have plugins such as WorldBorder or CoreProtect? I just want to make sure this server is well-managed before spending probably quite some time on it.

    For those who already downloaded and installed the mods, please remember to hit F7 in-game, go to page 2, and turn the volume of MSI Music Expansion to 100%, otherwise you will not be able to hear very nice adventurous music. Sorry, I made a mistake on this!

    You won't be working much with redstone and pistons though. This plugin, VariableTriggers, will be the core of most of the puzzles and mechanisms you build. What you can do with it is really limitless.

    Have you wonder how living in the wilderness is like? And how adventuring with your friends feels like? In short, FrontierCraft is the answer. In full terms, it is desribed below.

    FrontierCraft
    is a server focused on Role Playing, Adventuring, PVP, and Surviving, as a group. Upon joining, you will become a Pioneer who has to survive in a hostile environment with few supplies. Similar to vanilla Minecraft survival mode, you ought to get your own materials and to build your own home while fighting against ferocious hostile creatures. However, things are different in FrontierCraft. Each Pioneer has his own job, and only he himself can do those specific tasks. This makes surviving not easy. In order to survive, all Pioneers have to trade with each other for supplies.

    FrontierCraft is about cooperating and creativity. Almost no one can survive on his own. A Pioneer has to form trust, friendship, and social connections in order to survive. Because a Pioneer will find his home town the safest place. He will find is neighbors the most valuable companions during his journey, and his friends the toughest armor. He will find his intelligence the most valuable tool, and braveness the sharpest weapon. He will continuously be challenged by puzzles, traps, horde monsters, and by other Pioneers. A Pioneer can choose to conquer various treasures in every ancient buildings, or to create your own town, become a respected mayor, and live a quiet life. Generally, FrontierCraft is the place for people who want to have real challenges, not a place for the weaklings.
    So why FrontierCraft and not any other Economy servers nor RolePlay servers? Why should you choose FrontierCraft over other PVP or Hunger Game servers? There are several reasons.

    First, FrontierCraft provides you a combination of unique features which's goal is to put you in an adventurous world where what you can do are limited only by your imagination. It offers you a certain degree of realism but at the same time the fun of survival that cannot be achieved in real life.

    Second, it is a well-managed and well-configured server. Have you joined a very large server where what you say are constantly ignored by the overwhelming majority? Have you joined a server where ignorant Admins will not try to fix a bug or a badly-configured gameplay aspect? Have you ever found yourself needing information and ended up in vain asking for help but with no reply? If you have been on those types of servers, then you can imagine FrontierCraft to be the opposite. Or at least, it is trying to be the complete opposite of those severs.

    Third, in FrontierCraft, you won't find yourself outstripped by 'moneyed players'. The server will not offer superior advantages like daily money or hourly diamond armors to players who donate to the server. Donators will get some advantages, but things will not be grossly unfair. You can be assured that no newbie 'moneyed player' can surpass you, and that the time you invest in the server will be worthy.

    Requirements:
    • Use server texture pack - Warning: things may look amazing!
    To show that I, the owner, care for the players, I spent many hours choosing one of the best texture pack available, adding guns texture in, updating it to the most recent minecraft version, and adding a few enhancements into it. Download Mediafire. Dropbox.
    • User one of server mod combinations: shader or non-shader - It will decrease lag, put in richer sounds, music, and make things look awesomely good.
    Similarly to the texture pack, finest mods were chose and put into easy-to-install packs. Watch this video if you need help installing. . Or follow the steps below. Even if you chose the video, you still have to do step 6 manually.
    1. Download these sound files. Download Mediafire. Dropbox.
    2. Download either Shader or Standard Non-shader version. Choose 1 Only.
    Shader: Download Mediafire. Dropbox.
    Non-Shader: Download Mediafire. Dropbox.
    3. Extract "minecraft folder.zip" to ".minecraft" folder.
    4. Open "minecraft.jar" in "bin" folder with Winrar or Winzip, delete "META-INF"
    5. Copy the contents of Shader or Standard version and paste into "minecraft.jar"
    6. While in game, press F7 and go to Page 2. Turn on the Music Expansion volume to 100%.

    FrontierCraft is recruiting staves. There are three positions that need to be filled in: 1 Moderator and 2 Builders. Please fill out the form below.
    The minimum requirements of Moderator are to be mature when necessary, honest, have a good understanding of Bukkit and its plugins, and know how to use various commands.

    The minimum requirements for Builders are to be creative, can invent and build puzzles, traps, parkours, and have a basic understanding of Bukkit plugins. Builders in FrontierCraft will be using VariableTriggersin most of their works.

    I'm trying to make a connected texture for glass panes using Optifine's ctm. I'm new to this and I'm having difficulty. Here is my ctm folder; please take a look at it and tell me what's wrong. And here is a virus scan in case you are very suspicious :P . Mine is a 32x texture pack. Thanks in advance ^_^ .

    Would a GTX 570 along with an i5-3570K, and 8GB of 1600MHz RAM be able to support this at 60+ FPS?

    That is more than enough for anything minecraft-related. Plus, you don't need 60 FPS to run smoothly; around 30 FPS is good enough.

    I can disable populate, but then it would be a lot of works to make the map look 'natural'. Without Populate, desert would lack cactus, river and beaches would lack clay and gravel, swamp would lack witches, etc. It is a pain to add those in by hand on a huge map; unless there is an easier alternative way. I surely can avoid using Populate, but is there a better way to do it without taking huge amount of time?

    I was talking about generate-structures in server.properties file. The option includes temple, stronghold, mineshaft, and NPC villages. I thought generating mineshaft is controlled by that option, so I came to the conclusion that the feature is broken. However, I posted it here in case anyone else has a solution. Anyway, now you clarified that the cause is within WorldPainter itself, I won't have to report that bug anymore. Thanks for your response.

    You might be right. I had 'generate-structures=false' and mineshaft was still everywhere on the map. I will report this bug.
