@Vechs
Idk if you know yet, but in SSP if you hold F3 and press F it will change the fog, no matter what your y-coordinate is. So Canopy Carnage and other maps don't get ruined by fog.

IS IT TRUE... WE HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER TO THE WEEK OLD QUESTION HUZZHAH!!!!
k i have finished it... kind of. i think there is still lots to be done in the map, the things you have put into the map are good its just what you are leaving out. at the beginning i was confused(until i read the back story)i didnt know what i could do or if the things were accidents, i found a chest with a shovel in it and thought mabye i had to use that for somthing.
the challenges were alright though. i did however find a few flaws that would allow lazy people to get by the challenges. like the leaf maze you can jump onto the sides at the beginning and go to all the chests you'd like. its the same for the start. you can just jump over the fence and go right to the finsh if you wanted.
I also died jumping in the lava in the second to last room and spawned on the side grass, not on the wood platform, at first i thought this was intentional and made my way to what i thought was the next area. i walked into the doorway and it ended up being the finish(if you have troubles getting the spawn in the right spot i suggest using MCedit to move it). A few other things that could be easily improved, like the tnt area. it was by far way easier than the maze. And in the tnt arrow and lava room only a few of the arrow traps worked. the tnt didn't go off and it was obvious you needed to go into the center area. that place could easily be redone. you should also say not to put blocks down in the beginning for a rule, people can get by your challenges a lot easier if they could. the last think i found was with a hidden chest i found in the glowstone parkour room. its well hidden by impossible to get to unless you put down blocks. I did however like the black maze and the parkour was good
Those were only the bad things i found in your map, your ideas were good, they just need a little fixing. dont take it the wrong way :wink.gif:

If some of these things you did on purpose and i just didnt catch it dont listen then
Day four, after the sunrise on Lonely Island I returned to the surface expecting some creepers, but...nope. There were 3 2x1x1 holes on the island, and 3 creepers fell in, lol. I collected some string from the spiders, the other mobs that didn't burn, and I sailed again to the spawn island. When I entered the...'port'?, a giant bug ocurred and I died. My bow, arrows, and other items fell to water, and I think it's impossible to go to the bottom of that sea and return on 1.8, so I didn't try to recover my things. Luckily I saw that chest on the island :smile.gif:. After that, I decided to try dungeon . Everything went okay, I destroyed the first spawner and tried to drown the mobs, but I didn't see that cobweb. Then, a Skelleton magically shot a arrow in the perfect angle to make me fall. 3 creepers exploded in a row and I died. Conclusion: always carry a bow. When I respawned it was night, so I sleeped.
Day five, screw dungeon 5, I'm going to explore. Oh! What's that lapis I see? Victory Monument, **** yeah. I moved my crappy base to the VM, put the brown wool, and sleeped.
Day six, dungeon 1. Most difficult Super Hostile dungeon ever. White wool and lots of rails and things.
Day seven, sailing time. Wow, a ****ing tree island thing. Wow, a harmless floating lapis island with a 'Dungeon 14' sign. Wow, a giant lion creeper dungeon.
P.S.: It's just my texture pack or the south map barrier is made of diamonds?
Vechs Super Hostile Map - Race for the Wool. This is a Multi-Player map but I wanted to see if i could get thru this map alone and maybe show you a few strategies. Hope you like and if you do Please LIKE my video and SUBSCRIBE, I have a lot of content coming.
eay vechs how do you make your maps natural, like in the legendary the walls of the east commons looks amazing, you wouldnt just put the blocks down one by one, would you. im guessing it probably not tnt, not sure though. as a map maker i dont know how to make my brush strokes on mcedit looks better :huh.gif:
