    Wow, it's been a while since an update. Having problems, or just waiting for Minecraft to update to 1.2.6 so you know that there won't be an update to the game the day you release it?

    For the craftable items specifically for the soldiers, I've got textures done up for about 294 different weapons drawn up, along with a wing pack, spiked boots, and plans for a fireworks launcher.

    Oh wait, don't have any of those yet... Oh well, we'll see when we get there! ^.^

    - Yeah, the cactus would work something like that, and naturally would be unable to ride creatures while spiked, that would hurt the poor animated sediment animal. as for the glass bottle thing, I expected as much, that one was kind of random anyway...
    for the obsidian needle thing, it would be KIND of like that, except say, the clay gets hit, but does not get thrown into a wall by the projectile, they would be able to simply get up and keep fighting. The rate of fire compared to gravel would be much slower (like, say, maybe one every 1.5 seconds rather than however many per second we get with gravel) Also, as for the no headwear thing... that does seem kind of silly, wearing a one pound glass bottle would probably crush the poor guys.

    Also, as for the specialized stuff. Cool, I sort of expected that. What kind of stuff are we talking?

    no. the creator has already objected to this, as it would not only be EXTREMELY hard to do, it would also cause huge amounts of conflicts with other mods. Had you read the OP, you would have already known this, but apparently, some people can't be bothered to use common sense. Sorry, but he's not doing this, and no amount of capital letters or emoticons is going to change that.

    also, since the mod is starting to run out of sensible thing for clays to use, as stated in my above post, will we ever see the possibility of crafting specialized things specifically for the clays, or no?

    A few suggestions- When given a cactus block, clays will take the spines and cover themselves, causing attackers to take damage, no turtle required. When given a glass bottle, clays will wear them like helmets, allowing them to fight better when underwater, for some reason. If given obsidian (yes I know about your objection to this sort of thing, but we're running out of sensible blocks to use, unless you feel like adding more, you're going to have to use it for SOMETHING) the clays will break off shards of it and throw them like tiny, high speed needles with an amazing degree of force so much, in fact, that clays struck by the needles will be sent flying back and be pinned against the wall for a couple of seconds. however, the rate at which clays carrying shard can throw is SEVERELY hindered compared to other ranged weaponry, to make up for the speed at which they are launched, and despite all that force, the sharpness of the shards almost guarantees that the clay struck won't lose much of it's body when the shard pierces them, so they, for the most part, remain undamaged.

    Ok, this here is a mod I have been conceiving for a good long time now, and it's time I, (and some of you who may be interested), got to work on it. Pretty much, the mod would add a crapload of things for the minecrafters out there who want to make either really cool maps with puzzles and traps beyond dispensers and arrows, or just wanted to make a map for other players with more than what minecraft and adventurecraft had in store. note, that the mod MAY or may not add dungeons that are pre-generated, depending on the minecraft forum's opinions, but for the most part, it would be all about player-made dungeons, temples, or elaborate home security systems.
    ~General Feature List
    Block types- Trigger blocks (sort of like adventurecraft, but better.)
    Switches- Would activate redstone and other mod-specific things. (many types of switches)
    The Omniblocks-Blocks with a certain effect if triggered, touched, or right-clicked, could be disguised as a different block and have activation criteria set with a wrench.
    Decorative Blocks-because vanilla blocks sometimes don't cut it.
    Many more!
    Item Types- Weaponry- From magic gauntlets (these will be fun) to Master Swords ('cause what's a dungeon mod without one?) these would be for those who love to kill.
    Tools- Not so much for digging, but for solving the devious puzzles YOU devise. (you know, like a clawshot and stuff.)
    Rewards- What's a dungeon mod without TREASURE? Possessing reward items would be a mark of either true heroism, or just a really easy dungeon. (far more gratifying that diamonds, I assure you, and many would have some special effect.)
    Useless crap- Pretty much... stuff. Only real use would be to activate switches, or sell to merchants.
    Mobs!!!- Ranging from simple zombie-lookalikes to monstrous bosses, the mob DEFINES the mod.
    Other features- The Magic System (for people with REALLY long dungeons, people who like RPG's, or for those who don't wanna build, but still wanna see some bloodshed)
    Skill sets- for all the same reasons as above.
    More as the public asks.
    P.S It's late as F$%# and I have a monster headache. Please don't give me any crap.

    Reserved.Ok, so what I need in a team right now, would mostly be coders. I'm absolutely worthless when it comes to code, it's all just lines and numbers to me. I am however, a texture artist, and can easily do that sort of thing, and have it look like far more than a shitty recolor of a block or item that already exists. (looking at you, Obsidian Tools mod makers...)Also, as for crafting, Most of the stuff would not be. hitting a certain key would bring up a GUI containing all the stuff the mod adds, because user made content sucks if you can't just get out there and make it.
