First, I have to say, I'm a little late to minecraft...I purchased the game in Beta 1.2 and I heard that if you purchased the game in Beta, you have to buy the game again when the full ver. comes out.
If that is true...When i buy it again, will my Single-Player worlds still be there?
Welcome left handers, this thread is about notch implementing lefty mode. Say you use the computer on lefty mode. (Mouse to you left and pointer pointing to the top right) Switch on lefty mode and your items are now in your left hand.
When I'm Building a very tall structure, and I mess up somewhere and forget to fix it, the only way for me to fix it is to go to the ground and build a single tower all the way to my mistake, and it gets quite annoying. I have an idea...
A Bungee cord or repelling devise a some sort.
You right click where you want the post and then jump off a tall structure and you can repel.

To make slime farm,
Dig to the center of the earth
Then make a large cavern (3-4) blocks high
Light it up alot
Wait
Then bam! slimes.
Heres a pic of proof...
Some people are freaking out if their wolf dies, but the point of this thread is, they aren't that hard to find.
All you need to do is....
1) Find a forest or snowy forest biome.
2) Build your house.
2.5) Place a tit-load of torches.
2.75) Wait at until night.
2.9) Wait until morning
3) Bam! Wolves should spawn, if not, try again.
At first i thought wolves would be the coolest thing i had ever seen and obtained on Minecraft. On my first world, I traveled through 21 Mb of land before i found one wolf. I'm not saying the challenge of getting a wolf is bad. On my second World, I figured that if i lit up the outside of my house, wolves would spawn, I was right. One wolf spawned and I was sooo happy...for the first 2 minutes. After that my wolf would push me around, i told it to sit. I wouldn't shut up, I dislike playing with the sound off. And i was a bother to look after. I built a house for it, but I couldn't get it to go in. Wolves are okay, but in the long-run, I dislike them.
