Does the "magnet" function actually cancel out gravity? the block seems to be falling to the ground slower than usual. Or is that just my mind playing tricks on me?
The item does fall down a bit slower, at a quater of the speed
I am recreating this for 1.12. So far the funnel, Transvector interface, Transvecor dislocator, and the Talisman of Remidium, an the Tome of Knowledge has been recreated.Next I plan to do Thaumic Repairer.
Oh, this is just the right amount of creepy and unsettling, while also (seemingly) being a good "gravestone" mod for lost items on death, preserved from the 5-minute item decay inside the undead's (or slime's) inventory. Glad to see this being revived for 1.11!
The gravestone option is default off, as with so many mobs adding gravestones rescently, I thought people would appreciate not being suddenly faced with "you thought your items were safe? NO FIGHT THIS ZOMBIE!"" unexpectedly, thanks to the low default spawn rate
This mod looks really good so far! Hope more 'corpse' mobs get added in the future as it would be very interesting.
An idea. Perhaps you could make a 'possessed' mob for whenever a player is killed by a Ghast or Blaze? Both of them are evil spirits of the Nether world, so I figure they would attempt to possess the player's body after death and try to breach into the overworld. For Blazes, the player's corpse begins to float with blaze rods and smoke around it, using rapid firing blasts and melee tactics to attack the player. For Ghasts, the player's corpse would float around as well, but would have large white tentacles reaching from the back. It'd just be a tankier and longer ranged version of the Blaze one though.
That sounds a perfect way to pull in some more nether mods, if I use those ideas will definatly credit for the idea, thankyou!
Ever wondered if there was life after death? Wonder no more.....
Death in minecraft is easy, you die, your items scatter on the ground, you run to retrieve them. This mod changes that with a couple of new variations on old mobs
Zombies
These rotting corpses are the standard enemy in minecraft, but ever wonder why it is only them that rise from the dead at night?
You need to be careful when fighting them in UnDeath! as if they win, your corpse may just join them ..
This undead monstrosity will still partially look like you, and it has enough sense to be wearing what you were wearing when you died
Skeletons
The skeletal archers you are all familiar with take on a sinister turn, as they seek to corrupt players to be like them.
These new archers will also resemble your skin as your corpse rises from the dead, but be carefull, they hate you just as much.
Zombie Pigmen
The corruption is spreading! However just like the normal zombie pigmen, Your corpse does not hate you .... yet.
Slimes
These slimey things are not undead, and have no interest in corruption or necromancy, instead they are just partial to digesting you, sometimes the items get left behind
This mod has been ressurected from it's old 1.6.4 version for 1.11
But I want it on curse to uploaded a custom modpack for my frends. So I hope the build "512" is a legit version an the author can uploaded it into curse
The higher number does not mean it is newer.
This is why I didnt want to stick to one increment per release and move to simply having higher = better .

I am thinking of making that a config option, as people seem pretty split.

it only runs on Windows 9
I have added in my first draft of the osmotic enchanter.
Please note for fans of the old pillars, that is a config option if you prefer them.

Magnets are cool

Transvector Interfaces and Dislocators, and they both show the linked block when clicked with the binder

Hint at a minor change to a feature here.
