Fool's Gold(and other dumb stuff)
version 1.4.0.0: ATTACK OF THE SLIMES!!!
This mod, to nobody's surprise, adds fools gold. It also adds some other dumb stuff.
Features & screenshots.
In earlier centuries, when the gold rush was going on, many gold hunters were tricked by pyrite, a material looking much like gold and found in similer places, but almost worthless in total. This material became famous under the name "fool's gold" and-
Nobody cares! Let's get into what the mod actually does!
When I was mining, I ran across some gold ore.
It looked a little different from that other gold that was nearby, I only barely noticed.
After smelting it into ingots in my furnace, it looked much more distinctly strange.
What's even stranger, is that I can't seem to build armor or tools out of it...
However, it does seem to be craftable into blocks. I can't even tell these apart from normal gold blocks! That's a very nice building oppertunity, seeing as my other mods add in a very large number of other uses for normal gold!
Later, in an ill-fated study of why golden apples were supplimental to my health, instead of damaging to it, I attempted to craft an apple with some of this fake gold.
And then I ate it.
Let's just say that I'm going to stick with normal gold for my apples from now on....
That's annoying as heck, but luckily I have an anvil for renaming items as well as a fairly stupid friend...
-Version 1.1-
I've had the chance to experiment a bit more, and have made an exciting discovery! Putting a Fake Gold Ingot into my crafting table now seems to give me nine "Pyrite Nuggets" (on the left in image below.)
What's Pyrite, you ask? Dunno. Sounds like "Pirate" and has something to do with Fool's Gold. Better actually look it up if you care, you should know better than to trust me.
Now, what about that melon? After studying the Glistering Melons I could make with normal gold, I got to thinking, what happens when I do it with these Pyrite Nuggets?
Yuck. Get a look at this thing. It's all dark and ominous. This is not a good sign. No, really, you can't use it as a sign. I tried. Those still seem to be a wood planks and sticks thing.
After a bit more investigation, I found that I can't make potions from this thing, but I seem to be able to eat it! Weird!
Wow. Okay. Eating this appears to be... Not good for my health... No potion effects, and it even adds some hunger, but it did three hearts of damage to me! I almost died, and it feels like the modder just basically reused the idea of the Fool's golden apple instead of making something new! Not cool!
There also seems to be some development stuff that I can get in creative mode:
There are also some Pyrite bricks afoot, with the actual work in progress abreviation in their name. They're a decorative block with a temporary, kinda ugly texture that will probably be changed later.
-Version 1.2-
I mentioned a fairly stupid friend a little while up. Well, they decided recently to go look for the farlands. I'm pretty sure they were patched out though. Whatever the case, this friend got bored quickly, but still explored some new places, and when I went to visit them, I made an exciting discovery! My friend was complaining about Iron not stacking with itself, in addition to gold! Clearly they were experiencing something new! When they were afk, I mined around beneath their house for a while, and found what I was looking for!
Smelting this stuff gave me yet another weird fake ingot, which I quickly discovered was called "Irony!" It seems to make normal-looking blocks as well. What's infinitely more facinating, however, is what I found out next, which also seems to work with fool's gold!
Then, I tried to combine the two dusts in my crafting table. Sure, I can smelt 'em back into ingots, but this was much more interesting.
That smiling dust is adorable! I can smelt it into ingots as well, but these feel a little more creepy to me...
And of course, some blocks of this "Happy Iron."
That's all well and good, but what about this smiling dust? Surely there's more I can do with it? Well, yes. It, some gold dust, and some fish, give me a weird crunchy snack. That miiight just not be a permenent texture...
Yum. I can also combine the smiling dust with a pumpkin, to make the pumpgrin, and then that with a torch for the Happ O' Lanturn. Creepy smiling pumpkins.
Now, Crafting an Iron-golemy shape with my fool's gold blocks and a pumpkin gives me an unsettling Totem. I'm a little worried about what will happen when I use an item like this...
Now, There's a freezer that turns Fool's Gold into Fool's Cold, or 'Cold Gold.' Thing is, I need Cold Gold to make the freezer. I can probably get the stuff another way. Anyway, this stuff seems to be about as good as diamond in the tools department! Woot! There are also some pretty neat decorative blocks
Now, making a sword with these gave me something with as much damage as a diamond sword! It also works as a shovel, and has more durability! The only problem I see is that I need to enchant it with books or it just gets shovel enchantments.
Now, the pickaxe is pretty normal. Pick shaped. Frosty. Hit things real good. Around as fast as diamond, slightly higher durability, enchantability, and damage.
There's also some apples. The blue one is weird, the grey and yellow one is weird for other reasons. Blue is unsafe to eat, Gray-Yellow takes skill to eat correctly. Want elaboration? Hah, nah. Use it ingame...
What an update!
- Version 1.3.0.0 -
Joke update for april fool's day
- Version 1.4.0.0 -
Added possibly even more than v1.2!
The doccumentation will roll out pretty slowly.
Whenever I right-click on a block with a GUI, the GUI sticks to my hand! It's a GOOEY GUI!
Those darn slimes :\
These things can be used to do the G.U.I's effect in a crafting table!
They work with both the gold freezer and the pancake flipper!

Mod by ArloTheEpic
Special thanks to MCreator for:
-No ore dictionary support! (in the 1.7.10 versions)
-Making the Golem summoning item spawn extra 'ghost golems' sometimes! (in the 1.7.10 versions)
-Making me have to make a Golem summoning item instead of just allowing it to work as a construct in the world
-Several things being in the 'food' tab for inexplicable reasons.
-The tools not being as cool as they could be!
-Some blocks like the pumpgrin and happy iron block facing in a specifc direction, rather than facing toward the player who placed them!
-I guess technically also this mod existing at all :\

Don't download the latest version. It was an april fool's joke. The actual latest version is 1.2.0.1 until I can get 1.3.0.1 to work. It will be soon.
If you like this mod, hit that green arrow pointing up. If you don't like this mod, I don't care what you do,
because everybody loves this mod and the problem has never come up.
If you're looking for a less developed mod with similar mechanics, check out my other useless MCreator mod, Just plain Rotten.
I also reccommend Villager's Nose, meme in a bottle, and Jon's useless mod to you, as all three of those are also more about entertainment than gameplay, and all very much worth downloading.

Hello and welcome to the official forum page for CloneCraft (formerly known as the MyPeopleMod). Here you can find all you CloneCrafting needs, from downloads, to pictures, to tutorials and blumbering oafs like me. I hope you enjoy your visit, and have a lovely journey into the fun field of science! (Which, in this mod, is completely technically wrong, but it looks cool, and that's all that matters.)
So, what exactly is this mod you may ask? Well. Basically, it's a big mess. But aside from that, it introduces a whole plethora of new technical gadgets and gizmos into your Minecraft world for you to explore. Create clones of any entity in the game and bring them to life with lightning! Extract and splice genes from DNA samples from and into any entities of your choosing! Even yourself! Create giant friendly mutant creepers, or teleporting sheep! The possibilites are endless! (not really, there are approximately 47,000,000 permutation possible, I think. My math could be wrong)
Oh oh! And this works on Forge Servers! Yay! Finally!!
If you wish to support me, please click the adf.ly link I have spent many.. many........maaany hours on this (when I really should have been doing homework) juuust for you guys

ModPacks
If you wish to use this mod in a modpack, you do not have to ask for permission, go for it, I certainly don't mind. Just make sure you give credit to where it came from or who made it(me!) or this forum topic... Just something so people know where it came from.
Thank you!
How To Use
A Quick Note:
This mod is buggy. I had to rush it out because of other commitments. Use at your own risk (as it says below anyway), and be careful when modifying entity genes, as that it the buggiest part, especially when you mutate yourself. Expect wierd errors.Oh, and the Aggressive gene doesn't work... Oops.Ohhhh well, next update Oh, and one last thing, probably not the greatest idea to enable debug mode in your config file, as some words in chat will cause things to happen.I think, 'retard' makes you spazz out for a few seconds "polygon x r" creates a flat shape with x attempts at placing a block, and y radius. 'sphere r' makes a wierd sphere, and strike causing lightning to hit.But yeah, be careful.

I got Minecraft around 1.6.2-ish. So I started a survival (normal mode), saw a horse, kept riding it until i tamed it. I basically did exactly like Jason from Eggs Guide to Minecraft did and tried to go one way, but the horse was like, "Nah, going this way, idiot". Then a creeper came out from a cave and blew up, killed my horse and me (predictable). Respawned, got myself some wood, made a crafting bench, discovered it was night and I didn't have enough time to make a shelter, so i dug my way downwards through dirt, then fell through a ravine into lava and I said, "Wut... O_O". So then I respawned, got chased by a horde of Zombies for approx 10 minutes, then when they stopped, I walked forwards without looking at the ground and walked into a lava lake. End of my story.
Oh! And fun story about a Minecraft Hardcore adventure of mine to add on!
Spawned on top of a desert temple, jumped off not thinking of where i was landing, landed on a cactus, and died. Shortest time I ever survived in Hardcore. XD

i still remember my first map from 1.7.3 where there were mountains that popped up randomly (which i liked)id like to see mountain variations of all the biomes to spice things up in the next few versions of minecraft
also they need to tweak the spawn rate of abandoned mineshafts it seems on every map i play on i find at least 4 or 5 within close proximity of the spawn
