Are there just not any decent tools on Windows Phone? I've been looking for a slime finder app for weeks and have yet to find a single one. Hopefully someone comes along with a solution, but if not I am learning to code for Windows Phone so maybe I'll release something in the not-so-near-but-not-too-distant future.
I dunno. This doesn't seem so unusual after what happened to me the other day...
I started a new save and spawned on a skyblock with a tower of sand up the side, my map in my hand and two roses some sand and two blocks of dirt in my inventory. Believe it or not, I know that it actually happened.
Is it just me or are villages really screwy? About 99% of the villages I run into look haphazardly thrown together. Doors are out of reach, certain structures like farms are only half built, and sometimes on the very edge of the world you'll find half a village. Seriously. Buildings are cut straight down the middle to where the villager can just fall into the water. (see below) Does anyone know of any seeds with decent village(s)?
I've been wondering how this was achieved also. I've actually spent the better part of the past hour getting all worked up over it. lol Thank you for the enlightenment. BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER. lol
I've been using the two slime chunk finder tools and I still don't understand how I'm supposed to interpret the coordinates. How am I to dig which coords? I got lucky with one slime farm because a chunk ended up being in my mine. Since then I've made a couple of farms but they were fruitless. Any help you guys can offer would be amazing. Thanks.
whats the point of a glass dome when we have a limited map size?
The way I see it, as long as there is still plenty of room to play and I'm still in the boundaries of the map, It'll be an awesome build and it will be like I picture it in the books. Which of course is the goal. Anyone can create a hunger games map, but it takes a lot of time, effort and dedication to make one that's utterly amazing. I do understand where you're coming from, though.
I'll give you a little bit of advice: don't put up a download link. It's highly against Microsoft's Terms of Service. Just trying to save you some potential trouble.
Thanks a bunch for the heads up. I was not aware that it would be in violation of anything.
hey that is preatty cool. can you tell me when the map is done? good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor
Of course. I will update this thread with progress shots and when it's been completed I will update the thread then, too. May the odds be ever in yours as well.
I'll help you make the map if you'd like! If I get to play on it also.
Message me GT: Braxt28
That would be awesome! I would definitely greatly appreciate the help. I'll be on a little later today, as I am doing some cleaning in my new apartment. However I will definitely shoot you an invite.
I've been thinking of doing a nice hunger games map. I've recently finished reading the book, and I want to put a cornucopia at the spawn, with a couple of chests with some stuff in them. My goal is to get as close as I can to my vision of the arena in the book. I might even put it all in a HUGE (as big as I can) glass dome. I'm also considering posting a download link somewhere when I'm done with it. Would anyone be particularly interested in seeing me follow through with my idea?
Slime farm #1 *pre 1.7.3* (the setup is pretty much the same, but with glowstone in the ceiling rather than torches on the floor, to maximize spawn space)
Before the 1.7.3 update my slime farm was working perfectly. I was getting a decent amount of slimes upon each visit. But now, I can't seem to get them to spawn. I do have more than one slime farm, could that be the problem? I've done everything just the way it should be done. They're perfectly lit, they're in confirmed slime chunks, and they're definitely big enough (width, length *and* height). Am I alone on this one?
Could it be the obsidian or glowstone in the floor of one of my farms (my other one has glowstone in the ceiling)? Or the fact that I have more than one?
