    You only need the T-Flip-Flop if you are using a button. If you are using a lever simply wire redstone below or above all of the doors

    sorry for continuing the off-topicness of the "mods shouldnt be added" topic, but its not entirly jebs fault, notch added pistons which were also originally part of a mod, notch loved the idea and decided to add it to the game with permission from the mod maker. also the nice shadow effects? originally an ambient occlusion mod!

    anyway, just to stay on topic: xp farms are an "Exploit" you are supposed to get xp by actually killing the mobs, not by going afk for an hour then spam clicking with your fist to get the last bits of damage so you earn the xp.

    yeah, but yours doesn't have four separate outputs, its one switch that activates 4 wires, the OP had 4 buttons that activated 4 individual outputs. all the buttons were just on one block

    you could make a rather simple one with enderpearls, tripwires, and pistons. although it would require quite a lot of enderpearls overtime.

    then again if you have enough redstone to make some of these elevators, you probably have enough time to make an enderpearl farm in the end.

    i think arrows despawn after one minute, so you may be able to make a timer based on arrows. i think there are some arrow sensors out there, try doing a search?

    My apologies if this is supposed to go in the "Redstone Creations" forum, I couldn't decide which to put it in.


    I came up with this idea, of an "Enderpearl Elevator" Where a person would simply select a floor and toss an enderpearl. This would be a much faster form of transportation then most elevators, although it is limited by height.


    I have made some changes to my original design. Now instead of choosing a floor, you just enderpearl upward untill you are where you want to be. I had to change this because enderpearls stop when they hit string, this also removes the height limitation because of gravity. I have also added a way to get down.


    (Go up on the left, down on the right. Sorry I didn't put signs.)

    (Also, for those finding themselves stuck in a wall after enderpearling, try turning 90 degrees to the left or right before you throw the enderpearl. seems to help IMHO)

    I also just realized the golden floor is 2 blocks shorter then the others...

    I've come up with a simple Concept Elevator with 3 Floors, You can only go up, I dont quite have the redstone ability to make it go both ways, but I'm sure you smart people could find a way.


    It works by using pistons to determine which floor the person ends up on, and the new tripwires to detect when to put a floor for them to land on.


    It requires the latest snapshot to view, (or 1.3, if its out by the time you read this)

    Here are some pictures, although im not 100% sure if the elevator works now. I thought i was just throwing the enderpearls at an angle and always ending up on floor 1, although i think the enderpearls are hitting the string and stopping there..









    Edit: What file hosting service i should use? I dont like sharing things with my dropbox account, i feel like im giving away access to all my stuff.

    did i download as you were changing it? i appear to have a glitched version where the right area doessn't connect to the end, the railroads between the left and right side are separated by one block, and one of the railways is missing the corner area completely

    I'll try redownloading in a minute, busy flinging up in the air on the losers podium in single player,


    edit: just redownloaded, same problems

    edit2: also noticed tons of lighting problems in the second room
