-Symmetry. I'm actually proud of myself whenever I manage to build something asymmetrical that actually looks good.
-Floating Trees/Odd Leaf formations. If I have to cut down an entire forest to make sure that there's no unnatural leaf formations around (trees to close and the like), then I'll gladly do it.
-Toolbar. I mean, who *doesn't* like having the toolbar set up in a specific way?
-Terraforming / Landscaping. You know those random small holes in the grass, or the awkward shaped dirt mound that might pop up here and there? Yeah, I can't stand them. I need to terraform everything to ensure it looks aesthetically pleasing.
-Lighting bugs. Again, who *doesn't* feel compelled to place a torch on those things to fix it?
I'm pretty sure I'm missing like 4-5 things for my list but I can't remember them right now...

Oh, and here's a little something for the people arguing about actual OCD:
An accurate description for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (or OCD) is to consider it an uncontrollable compulsive urge to perform a specific action on a given situation, most of the times involving a certain requirement to be fulfilled before moving on to a different action. These urges are usually irrational needs that need to be done even against the own person's will. The common examples for this are repeatedly scrubbing your hands or turning on and off lights a certain number of times before entering/leaving a room.
In this context (things that you like/have to do in Minecraft), the term "being OCD" is greatly inaccurate whereas OCPD (that being short for Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder) is a more fitting term. OCPD is characterized by obsessive personality quirks usually involving a sense of orderliness, perfectionism and a general sense of control. Unlike OCD, OCPD is more related to rational preferences and desirable qualities, usually regarding something that needs to be done in a specific way to be right. More importantly: it is not a forced action and the person can always opt out of such requirement if needed.
So think again: Are these things something that you like to do? Or are they something that you have to do?
So, um... Any progress on the latest snapshot's textures? More specific, the textures for the vertical dispenser and dropper. Those are the only 2 textures I'm missing for my pack to be ready for 1.5.
o.o those textures are amazing!
Also, for the rare skins you could just do an alternate pattern, or a simple recolor, or really anything! They don't HAVE to resemble people. Same with the secondary textures like starfruit, jack-o-lantern, and deactivated redstone.
Good to hear you liked them!
And I actually like the idea of them resembling people (fun fact: 32x claymans have the same size as a regular Minecraft skin, except for the head), but I'd also like to try texturing them by myself instead of copy-pasting the skins of famous minecrafters. I guess I could make both and add a claymans_alt folder with the extras on it...
You're always welcome to make texture packs to support our mod! We actually enjoy seeing them!
Oh good, I guess it's ok for me to post the textures I made here... They were made for Dokucraft (32x), but I guess they aren't exactly exclusive to it. The only 2 things I didn't include are the special clayman skins and the starfruit (because I couldn't draw a decent shaped star).
Aaaaaaanyways, the project I mentioned earlier is now finished and available at /warp leafy (I'd get screenshots, but I'm too lazy today).
Also, we now have CASH4GOLD Stations at almost every warp where you can exchange virtual cash you get from voting for us on certain specific server listings for Gold Ingots, the main currency of the server. More information about this on mcblue.enjin.com
There's also this thing we recorded last night, A 100% real Raid between factions that didn't quite make it up to what we expected. It's quite funny, you should check it out.
Finally, Prime may or may not be working on a secret project that we may or may not have been informed of. One thing's for sure, it will be awesome.
It's been a long time. Haven't used this mod since 1.3_01.
I guess I should give this modpack another try~
EDIT: I just realized... I have to redo all the textures I had for this mod because Gerudoku doesn't fit good on my Dokucraft mix. And that means spending 3-5 days texturing all the stuff to make it fit my pack... This couldn't be more perfect :biggrin.gif:!
Hi, uh... I was wondering if you could add customizable sheep fur colors to the Custom Color mod. It always bothered me that the fur colors don't match the colors of the actual wool blocks in my texture packs and now that the Patcher has this feature it could work to fix that issue I have... Also being able to change the color of the enchanted items/potions' glow would be nice.
EDIT: I think I might have found a small bug. The water particles (rain splashes, water drops) are affected by the watercolorX.png instead of the color.properties.txt. I've only editted my pack with watercolorX.png, swampgrasscolor.png and swampfoliagecolor.png yet my water particles are messed up.
Well yes this mod does immediately tell you to make a guild. Only when you make a new world. But there is an option to cancel when it tells you. If you already have a world and open it you wont get the message. Mainly since it was already made. The mod can detect if you already made it. To it its like you said cancel anyway. So don't worry this mod won't make you lose your worlds. :cool.gif:
Thanks :biggrin.gif:
Downloading the mod as I write this, that was the only issue I had that was preventing me from using the mod :tongue.gif:
So, I've never really used this mod before, but I'm planning on trying it out (along with that Millenaire mod that everyone loves) once it updates to 1.0. However, there is one thing that I need to know before I test this: I know that in order for the Guild to appear a new world is required, but what happens to my old worlds? Do they get affected in any way? And what if I wanted to make a new world without the Guild spawning on it, does the mod have a toggle on world generation or do I have to uninstall the mod -> generate the map -> reinstall the mod for that?
I really want to try this mod out, but between a fancy mod and the map I've worked so hard on I'd have to choose my map. That's why I need someone to answer this for me...

And random thought: What happens if a clayman gets struck by lightning? Nothing, but it would be interesting if something did...
