Okay in this tutorial i'll be teaching you how to generate a source file from any mod , this is not intended to steal modeling codes ..! this is just intended to see how the codes are coded and will help you finish your mod with extra codes that you dont know , you can also update a mod using this tutorial without the use of the source files, this will generate the source files from the classes. This is so easy let's start...
Things you will need :
MCP
The mod that you want to see the source files of
the other mods required for the mod you chose (if there is)
first create a new folder on desktop and extract mcp over there...
copy the bin and resources folder in the .minecraft folder to the jars folder in the mcp directory that you extracted
now go to the bin folder then open minecraft.jar just like installing mods to the normal minecraft , install the mod
that you want to see the source file , and after that install the required mods if there any, after that decompile
here its done now youve got the sources , ignore the hunk failed error , if you would havnt done these steps (installed the other mods required in the mcp) you wouldnt have got the source files
you can view the name of the classes with dj java decompiler after decompiling , because some names will change after decompiling
I SAY AGAIN THIS IS NOT INTENDED FOR STEALING ANY MODELING ONLY COPYING SOME CODES LIKE TAMING ETC..
If you could help me with converting to Techne, that would be great.. I can figure it out from there.
thanks
so you did it in techne and need to make it a mod in minecraft like my mod? try my tutorial in the signature there is a thread of all my tutorials if still doesnt help pm me
