I've uploaded a quick 10 second video to show a difference between the water in v1 and v1.1
I personally like the original water a little better.. The water in v1.1 is missing the sort of 'shine' layer that v1 had, and is also darker. It makes the water seem like it's flowing really fast in a single direction, which is strange on flat small lakes like I have there.
Also, that little 'waterfall' I have there, you can see what I mean by the water animation being fast. The new 1.1 animations seem the same speed, but a little less smooth
Sorry if I come across picky, just trying to give my own input

Aug 26, 2013Not the best screenshots, but here is just a quick look at what I see with this texture pack.Posted in: Resource Packs
I absolutely love how the black clay looks in my office. It'd look better if I actually bothered to put maps up
Aug 25, 2013I love it. I absolutely love it!Posted in: Resource Packs
I miss texture packs like this. Everything is just so soft and nice, and flows really well.
I was so suprised when I heard this also has custom sounds (I didn't read your first post, so not sure if it's mentioned there. I just saw the screenshots and clicked the download button right away!)
(I'm currently writing this with Minecraft running in the background. This rain sound is just sooo sooothing and relaaxxiinnggg.)
In my first 5 minutes just roaming around with this pack, the 'critisism' I have for you is that the water animation seems too fast. It should be slowed down a little in my opinion. That and (Holy crap! The rain stopped so I turned it back on and the thunder just scared me!) Umm, I don't remember what I was going to say, but I think it had to do with that the bamboo/reeds seems just a tooucchh too dead. Maybe just a slight touch of colour in there to help blend more.
Also the animals faces (Specifically the sheep and cow) just seem a little... off.... Their eye areas are really dark. I'm not too fussed about that, it just seemed a little different.
All in all, this is a fantastic texture pack. I've added it into my bookmarks to check back on, and also to share screenshots soon
Keep up the great work, and excuse me while I try to figure out how to extract that rain sound (Without the lightning!) and make it loop while I go to bed.

Did you read the rules?
Yes, yes I did
Do you accept the rules?
Not at first, but then I was like "Fine..."
(Jokes, I do)
Did you vote on minestatus(please make sure you are online when you are voting)?
Not yet because I'm not online, but yes, I will be voting daily when I log in.
A little bit about yourself:
My username is n64billy, you guys know me as "Billy!", but my real name is Sebastian.
It's been a while! Since we last spoke, I've gotten a job at Motorline BMW, and have worked my way up to become a 'Service Advisor' in training.
I've missed the little tibbets and bits and pieces of being a part of out server. I remember it being the first one I joined, and ever stayed in!
I won't be playing as often as I used to, now that I have a girlfriend of 3 years, and full time job, and USB internet instead of a cable modem.
I know I probably might not be given it, but I'd really love to use creative mode to build major locations for the community.
I'll be able to come on another day to see just how big the server is so far, and how far everyone as come.
In our absence, I've played (properly) on 2 other servers. One of which I was a major architect and designed the spawn locations and arenas.
Looking forward to playing with you all again!

I'd be more than honored if I could try v0.9 to see if the progress you've made has any effect for Mac
EDIT: I forgot to mention, the "Mac error" that I'm referring to is the giant black line that appears across the middle of the screen. This black line is the only place that shadows are rendered. Screenshots have been posted before through-out the topic.

Works alright, but it runs a little laggy on my 27" iMac! Looks beautiful too!
How did you get it working on your iMac? I can't seem to figure out how to get it working on my MacBook Pro. I thought OSX had problems with it...?

why doesn't anyone help me!
well, i found out that 'gbuffers_terrain.fsh' is causing this massive annoying black line
i worked this out by adding the shaders 1 by 1, i added everything but 'gbuffers_terrain.fsh' it was fine, but when i added 'gbuffers_terrain.fsh' the black line came in and all the other shaders were gone
Does anyone know how to fix this? Imagine below
I'm getting this exact same problem on my MacBook Pro... I'd really like to know how to fix it...!
Apr 9, 2012I can't for the life of me figure out how on earth to get rid of this big black line through my entire game. It's been there since the first version of this mod, and I'm sick of it! I'd really like to just be able to try the mod out properly for a change.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Any ideas? I'm running a latest model MacBook Pro (If you need Specs I guess I could find them out)
Mar 15, 2012I have been using this seed to play survival with my girlfriend and I alone. It's awesome!Posted in: Seeds
Looks even better using the Summerfields texture-pack, and the water shader!
(The following images were using a clean version of the seed without our builds, in-case you wanted to add them to the first post ;))
