Archibald, I encountered the same aliased effect on cold biomes, but didn't bother to post about it, so thanks for actually being helpful.
I would also like to chime in with agreement to what Kev said. I would really love to see TFC compatibility, but I think that might be one of the most difficult mod compatibilities due to the sheer amount of things that TFC changes.
Finally, I would also love to see the Streams mod working with RTG. Although it already might, as I haven't checked yet.
I know that you're already aware of these things, but just for the sake of bug testing and reporting I'll say that the two most jarring things for me were the weird biome-mixing and the holes in the desert plateaus. Love what you guys are doing here. Keep up the great work.
Oh my gosh. This thread is everything I've ever dreamed of (short of Ted actually continuing development and introducing all of the stuff he teased). If you need any help bug fixing or a Patreon or something, I would love to help. Thanks so much for reviving this.
To be clear, I do support Ted and really want this mod to be continued. If Ted were to give any sort of indication that he intended to do so I would donate again in a heartbeat. I think my greatest disappointment is that in experiencing this mod I realized I couldn't go back to vanilla Minecraft, but knowing this mod is lacking important features (oceans, islands) I can't really enjoy this mod either. I'm stuck in a sort of Minecraft limbo. It's certainly possible that Ted is just busy with real life things and will come back eventually. We can only hope.
Really disappointed to see RWG sitting stagnant as it is. It entirely revolutionized my Minecraft experience. I initially gave Ted $10 dollars per month to support RWG. After a long wait without an update I reduced my donation but kept giving something in hopes that he was still working on it. Just recently I decided to remove my donation as it really seems as though he is no longer working on it. I understand we're not entitled to anything and I appreciate the work Ted did, but it's unfortunate to see something so promising be left incomplete. Hopefully I'm wrong and he picks it back up. Who knows.
Anyway, thank you Ted for the work you did and the enjoyment you provided with this mod. Good luck in the future.
I can see how what I did/said could be in the wrong. However I am still one of the only people donating anything to support his mods. 5 supporters last time I checked. I do follow his twitter and check his progress every day. I also understand that I'm not entitled to anything. He'll do what he wants.
I guess I'm just frustrated because I feel like regular snapshot updates would help him anyway as we would then be able test out what he has so far and report any bugs for him ahead of time. And I also want to make it clear that I'm not pushing him to work any faster than he is. I don't care if it takes him 6 months to make a big update. It would just be nice to get a little update every now and then. Otherwise I can't really justify donating as much as I was. That's all.
I've reduced my contribution from $10 to $5 per month. I really want to support this mod but not updating for 3 months is frustrating. I don't really care if every single update is an overhaul of the mod. I don't need that. Just give us some alpha release snapshots of what you're working on. That's all I ask.
rckymtnrfc, I also posted his Patreon account a few pages back, but so far we're still the only ones to have pledged anything to him. Disappointing really.
Forgive me if this has been answered already but the search function proved itself useless.
When I open the crafting menu, there is always a durasteel ingot there. It appears to be caused by the SMP Parts Pack. Is there something I can do to make this go away? Is it a known issue? Am I just an idiot?
I'm with you, DeMordrey. Couldn't be happier with the current state of this mod. Really revitalizes Minecraft and invites me back to wondrous exploration that I used to be so amazed by. As long as Ted doesn't burn himself out, everything will get in place eventually.

Chiming in to confirm that Custom Ore Gen is working with RTG.

I really wish we had a hobbit hole style door.

I apologize for any harm done.

+1. Truly, absolutely, and definitely not the place for that.

Additionally, if you really like this mod, and want to support it, pledge some money to Ted's patron account: https://www.patreon.com/ted80.
Any amount will help Ted be able to keep up his amazing work.
