Hmm, maybe try running it without Optifine installed and see if it still happens? Can't see anything else that would be causing a problem. Usually, the stacktrace points to a particular mod involved in the crash, but that report isn't really giving me any clues. Unless you know which one of your mods writes NBT tag data to files?

Can confirm I tried to pregenspawn 100 and it crashed with Optifine on the server and after removing it there was no issue.
Oh my god. I cannot wait for the CC compatibility. That is everything I've been wanting from RTG at this point. And it will finally allow me to use the ships mod properly!
No worries mate, don't feel bad for asking! Only just recently started doing it that way and didn't think anyone was actually building dev versions, so I didn't bother to mention anything, but... glad to see some people are testing the dev builds!
Unfortunately, that's something only delvr can fix from within the Streams mod. Last I heard, I believe he was working a new major version which is supposed to have improved start/end logic, but I'm not sure where he's at with it. Probably best to check out the Streams thread.
Holy Lilypads indeed!! Are you sure that's an Ocean biome they're in? I'm sure I put something in the code to only generate them inside the Jungle and only a little bit outside the Jungle. I'll have to have a look at that one.
It's possible to disable biomes from within the configs, yes, but RTG starts to 'fall apart' if it doesn't have at least 1 biome from each of the 'climates' that it uses (hot, wet/warm, cold, snow) to choose from. So if you disabled everything except Desert & Cold Taiga, it would only generate those two biomes, but the transitions would be all over the place.
It's still possible to get mostly warm or cold biomes, but you'd have to have at least one hot biome enabled and at least one cold biome enabled... and even then it might produce some weird transitions occasionally.

It starts out as Jungle Edge but then it becomes mostly just Ocean and Deep Ocean. With some of the other biomes mixed in (stone beach, roofed forest, jungle edge). Is it possible that the lily pads are continuing to generate because there are very small pieces of the other biomes present?
Running BetterFPS, FastCraft, Optifine, GLSL Chocapic's High Shaders, and RTG I'm getting solid 60 frames and under a gig of RAM usage at View Distance 16. Working great!
I've also disabled all biomes except a few jungly, rainforesty, beachy biomes and oceans and changed the weights of oceans to 20 and non-ocean to 1. I'll be posting screenshots soon.
Aw hell yeah! I am beyond ecstatic that my long shot name drop actually worked. Hope you, Flava, and Pink can work together to get something really awesome going.
Flava, KdotJPG posted a few times on the RWG thread trying to push Ted to use Simplex instead of Perlin noise. If you can contact him, he might know something.
You can find one of his posts on Page 284, posted on March 22, 2015. Hope that helps.
Edit: He even made the change himself and posted a version of RWG using his OpenSimplex noise on Page 271, posted on February 5, 2015.
Double edit: He was last active online about a month ago, so it might not be easy to contact him. He seemed frustrated by Ted's lack of communication or comment on his suggestions and might actually be really excited to see what you guys are doing here.
Just so you're aware Reign, I just talked about the Stream mod on the last page of this thread, however the way it makes canyons and has weird bridges is a bit too strange for my tastes.

Two things about this.
I still really wish there was a way to just have warm or cold biomes.

Streams: Working but generating some weird bridge things.

Maelstrom: Weird water rectangle... or lack thereof.
Floating BOP tree: Speaks for itself.
