Not much of an idea but I thought I'd throw it out there. What if the Furnace had extra slots on the left and right so that you could pre-load materials to be smelted. That way you could just throw it all in the boxes to the left and then when it gets finished it will but your smelted goods in the finished boxes to the right. I just get tired of only being able to put one squares worth of stuff in the furnace at a time. Let me know what you think.
