Do you have permission from the mod devs to be compiling these mods and putting them up for public download?

    First problem:

You included the Flan's Mod in the mods folder without include the Flan folder, which contains all the content packs, so you basically included content-less Flans.

    Second problem:

Forge detected a missing mod, Gravity Gun.

    Third problem:

Every hostile mob you fight is completely overpowered and absolutely impossible to fight legitimately.

If you put more work into it I believe you've got a good map there, but some of it just seems lazy or like you didn't know what you were doing.

It's very unbalanced and (of course) incomplete (it's a WIP I know).

posted a message on Multiplayer kicking me offline.

Ok so, I have no idea what is happening but at a seemingly random time after joining any multiplayer server (even my own hosted from the computer I'm joining it on) I seem to get kicked offline. My internet just cuts out, the router seems to be fine and all I have to do to fix it is stop connecting to the router and then continue. It is really obnoxious when actually trying to play the game and I don't understand what is happening.

Sorry if I took it a bit far. Calling the OP lazy was a bit hurtful, but if you are able to at least understand that is just not the case then we're all OK. It is possible to pump out a good MCreator mod, I have seen it done. The problem is, it usually isn't because people expiriment a lot with it when they first get it and make useless overused ruby tool and such mods. However, it can potentially handle biomes, any type of mob, weapon, dimension, etc. And this particular mod is good and manages to accomplish its goal of story mode npcs/bosses/items.

Phew, glad this didn't degrade into another pointless internet argument. The thought sounded cool when I saw a review of it but then it didn't seem made very good at all, and then finding out it was made with MCreator made it seem terrible. I just have yet to see a decent mod made with that program as people don't bother to make good stuff with it. This mod however I see has some potential, if the mod creator cares enough to put in that effort required to make it good. I'm actually going to try to get MCreator to work and see what I can do with it. (and not release what I make unless I manage to make something that I don't see as garbage)

    @ Hydraheads

I was actually with you on the post and realized a few things. And then you told me to go sit in a corner and rethink my life, what does that have to do with my post? How did my "painfully offensive and rude post" ruin at least 3 peoples' days? All MCreator mods I have seen have not been very good at all, and I did try to download and use MCreator but it simply didn't work, I could not do anything. MCreator did however look like it had been updated quite a lot and improved. However I do not see how anything about my life has to do with the post I made, I see that what I said may have been a bit rude but how was it painfully offensive?

There is alot of things wrong with MCreator, it is for lazy people who don't care enough to learn how to code.

Yes, of course coding is hard, thats what makes it cooler when you make something awesome with it, not just finding a stupid and easy alternative.

Don't use MCreator, learn how to code.

    Put :

    world.spawnClone(npc.getX(),npc.getY(),npc.getZ(),1,"Wate");
    npc.despawn();

    in the Killed script tab

And you have to have someone called "Wate" (or what ever) in tab 1 of your cloner saved under server tab. (use what ever tab you want but must match the number before the Name (1,"Wate")

this would spawn the new one where the other one died you could offset it with npc.getX()+5 etc.

The NPC killed would not come back with the despawn command.

(this is like a top 10 question)

    Thank you alot.

I saw someone ask this question a while ago and was going to see if he got a response on how to do it, but I forgot to check the thread for a while and when I did remember and check I couldn't find the post.

You could use the spawner job to have a single NPC automatically spawn up to 5 more in combat. The base NPC could then be scripted to spawn a more powerful version of itself upon death, thus also containing more powerful summons if you pleased. Rinse and repeat this with multiple spawner NPC's, plus an offset spawn location on some sort of timer and you have yourself a horde mode.

Hey, uhm, how do you script an NPC to spawn another NPC upon death? This is something I really badly want to do since I want to either make multi-stage boss battles, or an NPC that is neutral and looks one way and dies instantly when hit, but when you hit the NPC it dies and spawns another but with a different model/texture and health value.

Can I ask why is it when my ammunition for npcs is set to not stick .the arrows continue to stick an not vanish ..sticking horribly a foot in the air from the blocks they struck. but the other ammunition disappears properly even though they still don't fly straight an spin sideways.. to be honest I cant play minecraft without this mod.. but the ammunition bugs giving me a headache. so I turned off the ammo stick option so it didn't look so bad.. but the mineraft arrows continue to stick... facedesk >_<"

They do that because they are literally JUST Minecraft arrow entities.

Noppes made exceptions for game breaking bugs a couple times before, other than that it mightn't get a fix.

Skins have to be in the appropriate format for the version of Minecraft your using. Only 1.8+ skins will work in the beta, and only 1.7.10 and below skins with the aforementioned. The difference is the overall size, 1.7.10 being at 64x32, 1.8+ being 64x64.

Give the internet a search for some tutorials for how to switch between them.

Minecraft Forge is a modloader, meaning any mods made for it, will need it to run. To play with the 1.8 beta, you'll need to be using the actual 1.8 Minecraft version and a compatible version of Forge. Here is a link to the recommended Forge for 1.8, and here is a link to the 1.8 beta version of C-NPC's.

You'll have to download and play the 1.8 version on your Minecraft launcher before you can successful run the Forge auto installer, so do that if you haven't already (search the web with your favourite engine if you don't know how to). Play with the Forge profile selected, then close Minecraft. A folder called "mods" should have generated in you .minecraft directory, put the 1.8 beta of Custom NPC's in there and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the information tobbius, and I found a manual fix for the bug I was hoping to get fixed.

I'm very new to the whole modding thing; vanilla is all I've ever used. Do I need to download Forge to use this mod, or is it just highly recommended? Also, I'm currently playing 1.8.8. Will the 1.8 beta of this mod work on 1.8.8, or do I need to switch to 1.8.0? Will I need to switch to 1.8.0 for Forge?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Of course you need forge!

Dang, I really don't want to move to 1.8.
I just really hope some bugs can be fixed for the 1.7.10 version :C
