I, for one, am happy about the new signature limits. People who had tons of pictures/text in their signatures annoyed me, because It made the site a pain to scroll through and slower to load. At most all people need in a signature is a banner and a line of text. If people really want to put their autobiography/all 7 sites they support in their signature, they can just have a link to their "About me" page on their profile with all that stuff.
As far if warnings effect your chances, I would say it's not as much about warnings as it is about behavior. Everyone makes mistakes, and we know that. Someone with good behavior most of the time, but one or two slips is fine.

Nope. I just Googled "Quandary texture pack", clicked on the link, and it brought me straight to the forum page. Works fine.
Why can't they just go back, instead of having a problem filled forum site that barely anyone likes??
IPB is a big improvement over phpBB. We are still ironing out a few problems and bugs that come along with the switch, and certain features need to be tested to make sure they work before they are brought online, but overall it's a much more powerful piece of forum software for users and moderators alike.
The forums are *ok* if you are on a desktop, the only problem I have is with the messed-up search.
HOWEVER, on a mobile device they are unusable.
I browse the forms a ton on my iPhone 4, they work fine. The only problem is Javascript (Which mobile phones suck at). However, Curse is working on a mobile theme for the forums.
Same thing here, I've almost completely stopped using these forums because of the setup. I find myself quite repelled by the new icons. Also, there seems to be about a billion new sections on the forums.
People complained about the old icons and demanded Minecraft styled icons. We can't keep everyone happy. It only took me a day to figure out and get used to the new icons. I don't see why it's such a deal breaker. Also, what forums have we added? Since IPB, all that has changed is that seeds is a separate forum now, along with the merging of the support site with the forums (Moderator Applications and Support sections). I only see those three, not a billion.
As many people have said, Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 (It's taken them so damn long it had better be a full length game with new content.) I just finished Portal 2 and can't wait to see how the two tie in, especially with the Borealis.
Having fun with these subtle low blows? I highly doubt anyone will change based on their post count. Also, does Curse get more money for me seeing those links? If not, why does it matter? I'm never going to click any of those links anywhere for any reason.

I don't understand why everyone is freaking out. Notch isn't even going to be working on the port, and all it means is more money for Mojang. I see no problem with it, good for them.

Curse is working on the mobile theme, but from what I know, if they enabled it right now, nobody could login from their phones.
