And when that user was banned, it was for posting NSFW content on the forums, and it was their 3rd warning.
I love you! This worked perfectly, I did Single Player Commands, worked on my first try. What ever this modified launcher is, its the key to getting it on macs IMO.
Essentially, it's modified to use Java 6 instead of Java 5. Notch goes through and removes all dependencies on Java 6, but modders don't. That's why you need Java 6 to use mods.
Search will be back up when we switch out forum software to IPB soon, it is down because of a bug in the phpBB search function that allowed users to cause tremendous server load.
For those wondering why they aren't in the searcher group, there are tons of people applying, and moderators have other stuff to deal with along with that.
Most of the server load (Which causes 502 errors) and the lack of search are related to the fact that we are running phpBB as our forum software. That's going to change soon, when we switch to IPB, and search will be back up and server strain should be reduced. The servers aren't cheap you know.

Generally topics that generate good discussion are kept up by the actually discussion, not the thread creator just spamming it. If a thread needs the creator to post/bump on it frequently, then that's generally not a good sign.
I generally don't do anything unless the bumping is excessive, IE more bumps than posts. But that's just me.

Well I wasnt aware of the "evading bans" rule, as I honestly didnt read the rules very much, I dont generally get banned from forums, and the rules are usually comman sense and dont require a read through (ironic considering my first warning, I know)
However, I still completely disagree on the second warning. If I would have posted "OP is a troll", I wouldnt have had any action taken against me whatsoever. The comment I ended up posting was in essence, the EXACT same comment, albiet in a more entertaining and creative manner. It was not my intention to spam, I was simply being more creative in a reply thats actually quite common around these forums.
In my opinion, with all honesty and no attempt whatsoever to sound like I'm bashing the mod responsible, I think considering the nature of the original post and subsequent replies, the Admin's tolerance dropped a bit below the "half full" line, and I was judged more harshly then fairly

I don't understand why everyone is freaking out. Notch isn't even going to be working on the port, and all it means is more money for Mojang. I see no problem with it, good for them.
