Jimmyp42002 posted a message on Tour of my old Single Player world. Some people really liked the pictures I had of the changes done to my old Single Player world. So here's the entire world.Posted in: Screenshots
My Original House at spawn. Not much but it served it's purpose until I completed the town not far from here.
Milenere villagers have covered most of my original mine entrance, but there's a small slot left.
Not much down here, but I got about 8 diamonds from this mine alone.
A fair ways out from that is my 2nd mine, a pit shaft that ran down to bedrock, it connects to the origonal mine via one shaft, but it failed to produce much Diamond, Lots of lapis though!
The first non-wooden structure I ever built in minecraft. Ugly yes, but its functional.
Bare interior, I built this before I really cared about interiors.
Upstairs isn't anything terrific either but it served as my main base for a long time.
At one point in time I had a lighthouse on the roof of this building. But the solid cobblestone tower was an eyesore. I tore it down when I built the other lighthouse. I did however leave the base of the old lighthouse on the roof of the building.
The new lighthouse. Don't ask about the clean line in the ice. I did a version update (I think it was to 1.6?) and some areas turned into winter biomes.
My first Brick building and a small farm.
Milenere AI gave me a hand with building the town, about half the buildings are their's. The slab structure at the end of the pond here used to be a Better than wolves Windmill that make flour but I don't have BTW installed right now.
Other Side of town looking down through the glass roof of the agriculture department. We'll get down there soon.
Viewing the town from the lake side. Yes that was an Aether Portal at one point in time.
This was a milenere mine but I converted it to a garden.
The garden is in memory of my father, who passed away in 2007.
Back inside the cobble building, we take a look at the ladder leading to my underground base (about half the town is underground). the ladder going up was the emergency escape when I had a BTW elevator to access the second floor of the building, but that lasted a mere 2 days before I removed it, thus leaving the useless ladder as the only remains.
In the basement, the entire story on the elevator can be read in another thread.
My workshop is built under the pond in the town square. It's a hub to the entire underground of this town.
Lets tour the agriculture division.
The Cactus and reed rooms. The cactus room and the room I'm standing in have glass roofs.
This is the forestry room. Not much growing here right now. When I built this the first time around I used TNT to mine it, this was before you could remove TNT by left clicking, there's probably a half dozen TNT surrounding this room that I couldn't remove at the time.
Ah, this room looks interesting! "under construction" huh?
Well I'm not getting far with that lava in my way here. I wonder if that strange switch back in the forestry does anything here?
I heard something move!
That switch makes a bridge over the lava that leads to this safe room. I can flip another switch here that opens the lava bridge so mobs can't get to me (prepping for the zombie apocalypse!).
Currently that door across the way just leads to a ladder that goes to the building above the ice there. At one point in time that was the underground terminus for the line that leads to sword base. We'll get to how it is now later.
The staircase in the middle of the room goes down to a mine and to my storage rooms.
One of my storage rooms, I have one that is entirely dedicated to cobblestone. I only need one chest for smoothstone because I really only make smooth stone to build things with.
My Nether Portal room. I'll eventually get pictures of the nether here for you guys.
Directly across from the nether portal is the other Aether Portal. I think I had a large base with a portal at each corner, thus why I have two.
The heating room.
Entrance to the mine, Doors are to keep mobs from entering. I'm not going to show the mine, everyone has seen lots of mines.
Out in the bay is the first ship I ever built, the Rustalka. Ugly is the only way to put it. I did do some mob testing out here once, but it was a failure.
A view of the town from the Rustalka. The bridge was originally a foot bridge that got expanded to take minecarts. The building with the large glass roof is the mass transit station (minecarts).
There are 3 minecart lines on this map, each one has a connection to a central cart storage yard and I can regulate the number of carts on the system with this.
Inside the main lobby, the ladder leads to the two underground lines and the doors lead to the line that goes to sword base.
Underground looking at the completed line towards "Nelsonville".
The minecarts from above go into this yard to be stored.
The 3rd line is still under construction but will be hooked up to the same cart yard as the other two to share carts.
Here we're following the above ground line to sword base. Two stranded minecarts sit vacant.
another small milenere town has formed here.
The grade up towards the sword base station.
A wrecked ship I built, whats that? Oh, you guys want to see behind me, Sigh, ok.
The sword base complex.
Minecarts enter this open air station, No I did not build this, this is naturally formed. Looked almost like the opening to a hanger bay from star wars.
Two directions to go, we'll go up.
Two doors entering sword base.
The building lobby.
The basement contains a science lab.
The lab.
My first piston experiment
Experimental Incinerator.
Sword Base waiting lobby.
Row of cubical's on the first floor.
The second floor has a few hotel like rooms. I installed them in case I ever made this into an SMP server (which I doubt I will).
Accessible via the second floor and ladder is the building maintenance floor, just storage and building heating here.
Mid way lobby, no idea why I didn't add details.
There used to be a painting blocking this but I'm not sure what happened to it.
Above that is the library.
View from the observation deck of sword base.
Yeah, yeah you guys want to see the bridge.
These two buildings ^ are office buildings that I intended to rent out if I made this into an SMP server, both are full of empty rooms.
Yes lightning can burn wooden structures even if it is raining, this was a small garden shed I built to hold the materials for sword base while I built it, however it was struck by lightning (I was there to witness it!) and it caught fire, thankfully it was after notch nerfed fire so it didn't burn all the way down. I left it as such as a reminder as to why not to build wooden structures everywhere.
I can hear everyone screaming "COBBLESTONE GENERATOR!", yup got that right. I originally built it to mass produce the stone needed to build the bridge and sword base. I then combined it with pistons to make a self rebuilding bridge as an experiment. The trenches mark where the trail to the bridge once went. I ripped out the pistons and redstone after I turned the bridge into something else.
Ugly yes, effective, yes. This is my mob grinder, what I converted the bridge into. Works extremely well.
About a minute worth of drops.
Pull the lever to drop the items down to you.
Back to the sword base cave. Lets go down now.
TNT testing zone. Or it was, now its just the starts of a small town.
This house was built only for the purpose of testing the effects of TNT bombing it.
The old launcher, now a waterfall.
A log cabin on top of the hill, small but cozy!!
A view from the cabin's deck.
Once again, a building created for the possibility of SMP. Would you guys think that this building has more space in it than sword base, both office buildings, and the entire town by itself? Yup, it has a layered basement that goes all the way to bedrock full of empty rooms.
The last lobby before bedrock.
One of the rooms on the lowest floor converted to a residence.
Back upstairs looking at the missing chunk of a hill from the TNT testing. The town will eventually expand this way.
A more recent addition, the Nuclear Power plant.
Control Center
Cozy in here. But we're missing something............
Doorway to reactor room.
UH-OH, there's sky in the reactor room.
Apparently the reactor ran out of coolant and exploded. I had no idea it had happened until I came here to give you guys the tour. I did notice some pieces missing in the first photo location but I didn't think it was major. At least this shows the effectiveness of my containment unit, it didn't make a massive yogscast style crater in the ground! and my redstone/piston door still worked!
Crew bunks, still under construction.
Here's the power generation room, I never could figure out the technic pack wiring so there have been more explosions here than in the reactor!
The underground cart system from earlier comes up here underwater to head towards "nelsonville"
This line is heavily fenced because I had problems with animals.
Nelsonville was a milenere village but after a game crash, the entire village was just gone. Only 2 buildings remain.
Abandon General Store
wind power station, non working due to lack of BTW mod.
Enjoy everyone!
A view of the town from the Rustalka.

Now, I pretty much always play on peaceful, hate dying, and mainly suck at minecraft. So i thought, "I wonder how long I could last in a Hardcore World?" At first i thought "Not long"
SO, I tried doing a hardcore world.
:biggrin.gif: Wolf in pond.
Later on I built a door and replaced some of the wall with cobblestone
Yeah not much of an improvement.
The inside of my base, not the best but good enough to start in.
While making the roof higher, i found some coal :biggrin.gif:
After mining it away, i have more space to work with in my base.
Started a pumpkin farm (that isn't doing well) since i had a pumpkin.
Night Falls
Scared of mobs, just watching the fullish moon.
Getting wood and saplings, still nervous.
Improved the front door to see outside better.
Outside of my cooler base.
Tree farm
Half moon (anyone else notice moon phases?)
Even cooler base door (if i'm gunna survive, might as well make it look cool)
TARGET SIGHTED!!!!
WOOOAAAAAH MOUNTAIN RANGE!!!!!!
Surroundings of my spawn (like it matters, this is hardcore.)
Sheep? Or a mean of sleeping?
My new bed :biggrin.gif:
I stopped taking pictures here because there was a risk of dying of starvation. I just wanted to know more about hunger, so i'm going to the wiki now. Thx for reading this post!
Here, it was inevitible i was going to die, so i decided to use up my resources
Here is a (failed) creeper face
I watch the last moon i'll ever see (in that world)
And now i go to bed.
Well, when i woke up, i had half a drumstick left, not good. I knew i was going to die and there was nothing i could do... so i went up to that mountain range one last time.
Took a cool picture of the sun in the middle of the day while starving.
I looked back to the mountain range with half a heart left. And then i jumped and fell to my death yelling "TAKE THIS HUNGER!!!"
Conclusion...
A noob can last around 4 days or so.
I've also learned to respect the hunger bar... and hate it.
Sorry about the rendering, i
havehad to take pictures fast or somethings gunna get me. Just my luckAnyways,I'll post newer pictures in replies, Hope you liked this :biggrin.gif:Actually i can just edit the post, so nvm about replying.
I died D:
