During the downtime, I got to think of something: Since Minecraft Forum is part of the Curse Network, do you think there'll ever be support for Minecraft in the Curse Client? - To post a comment, please login.

Please vote in the poll; if you have anything to add, do so in a reply to this topic (obviously).
Thank you for your time :smile.gif:.

Sheers: I'm not really digging that icon. There is too little contrast on it, and the proportions are slightly off. I like the general idea of it though, what with the handles and such.
Ghast Tears: I presume that's ghast tears anyway. I thought you were going for the haunted, mechanical Nether? Wouldn't it be more fitting if the "tears" were oil-drops, or something of that matter?
Blaze Rod: AMAZING! I really like how that one turned out, as it both seems rigid like a rod, yet living like a blazing fire; again, good job on this one!
Golden Record: Yeah, there's something off with this one. The proportions, as with the sheers, somehow look off. It's as if it's too cramped, compared to the yellow in the middle. Remember that you have a whole astounding 16x16px to work with, and not a mere 7 as it seems here (this is supposed to be read humorously, and not in a lecturing way).
Vial: I like how that one turned out. The contrast is nice, and you can easily see it's a vial. Compared to the items, though, it seems to lack a slight amount of depth. It might not be noticeable in-game though.
Fire Ball: Considering how this is going to be covered in flames anyway.. I like how you gave it the burned up look! I always considered it odd what with ghasts puking burning coal at you, but that really makes it distinctive from coal -- good job!
I would have added some smileys in there to soften it up, but it would've ruined the layout. .. Yeah.

Glad to see you're back though! :smile.gif:.

Pretend that I say "Isabella" every time I say "JohnSmith", and that should all work.
If it doesn't automatically do it, be sure to skip to 2:14, as if you don't, you'll get a load of garble you won't need for the installation of the texture pack.
Mind you, this is not how you download it, but how you install it. If you wish to know how to download it properly, just PM me and I'll inform you.

I happen to have a lot of sparetime in school (well, I can't speak for what'll happen the next half year, but I believe that will continue to be the case), so I might try and saturate and brighten up the pack a bit.
Have a Happy New Year, bonemouse, be sure to take time to care for your family :smile.gif:.

What I think most people, saying "I want a brighter version!" mean, is "I want a version with more vibrant colors in it!".
Personally, I've actually come to enjoy the look of default Minecraft (I know, it's sad). But I also like your artistic touch, so I'm sort of stuck between worlds -- so once everything's settled with Isabella, could you possibly make a new texture pack (or an "expansion pack") for Isabella, curiously called:
Stephen?
For reasons which are quite obvious; but it'd be as though the two people are stranded on seperate islands, they're writing letters to each other, where as Isabella has found a way more saturated world, and thus she feel inclined to tell Stephen about all the colorful wonders, compared to his dark and gloomy side of the world.
Just an idea, not trying to stress you out or anything :smile.gif:

According to his website (http://www.retributiongames.com/quandary/), it's up-to-date with Minecraft.
And don't go saying that Minecraft is version 1.9 (Prerelease 6); because it's not OFFICIALLY released. It is technically, but not officially; it may be, that ExtraNoise simply decided not to release a new version of the pack, until the launch of Minecraft.

Surely this will do, yes?

It could be interesting to see a "Credits" button in the main menu (or somewhere), which would list the following:
The Mojang Team
(notch, jeb, C418 etc.)
The Community Contributers
(That Piston Guy etc.)
InfDev Testers
Alpha Testers
Beta Testers
What'd you think about having one such thing in Minecraft?

First, download Firefox (as that's the only Browser I'm confident with).
Second, download the texture-pack.
Third, press "CTRL+J" on your keyboard (presumeably CMD+J on a Mac).
Fourth, Right-click on the Texture Pack Zip file (top of the list).
Fifth, Choose "Go to File Placement" (or something like that). It should be the second-to-top option.
Sixth, go to the "Run" found in the Start menu on Windows (if you're on a Mac, poor you).
Seventh, type in "%appdata%/.minecraft/texturepacks", and press enter.
Eigth, move THE ENTIRE .ZIP FILE (do NOT extract it!) into the folder that just opened.
Ninth, Open up Minecraft.
Tenth, Go to "Mods and Texturepacks", and choose the Isabella Texture Pack.
Hope it helped :smile.gif:

I am on a shared computer, with my family; and I'm not using the Administrator account, to which the patcher/installer is trying to use. I know the password, so that's no problem.
But it automatically assumes, despite the fact that I'm on another account, that it has to extract to ("*admin*/AppData/.minecraft").
Now, that folder didn't exist, so I made one (copied the one from my account), and so it extracted.
I then used the "Choose Minecraft Folder" option, but it didn't allow me to access the AppData folder, as it's a hidden folder by default; as far as I know, not something I can change (I can make it visible in explorer, but it's not visible for other programs).
And hooah! It installed to *admin*. Is this good? No! Because now I can not start Minecraft -- at least not the version with all this doopididada installed. Which would be a shame, as I would prefer to play the game as it's intended to be played.

Anyway, you really do deserve a break. Don't sweat not working on the pack, you deserve a break -- say, until around November, if need be?
Anyway, of course your work and school comes first. No way in heck am I going to complain lack of work on the pack, if it's because you're taking care of far more important stuff.
Also, don't get stressed out! It's horribly horrible. Relax! :smile.gif:

But how is 167cm tall? That's below average height in many countries, as far as I know.
