OS: KDE Neon (based on Ubuntu 16.04) 64 bit
Launcher: 2.0.579
After installing, clicked on the icon in the launcher - silently fails. Upon running "minecraft-launcher" from the CLI - the following error is reported:
./launcher: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.57: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have libicui18n.so.55 installed, but libicu57 is not available in the Ubuntu repositories.
Suggestions?

Another update! This time for the Connected Textures Add-On. I have now included ALL glass colours, so I decided to update the version number to v1! Full changelog:
What other blocks would you like to see with connected textures? Bookshelves is one suggestion - any others? I'm not promising anything, but I'll see what I can do!

A new update to v113.5.4, focusing on turtles and other water items. I've had to release the pack before getting the turtle mob texture finished, as I have torn a ligament in my thumb, which makes it difficult to do fine details.

A small update to the pack has just been released (bringing us up to version 113.1.1):

I have just submitted the Minecraft 1.13 version of this pack to Curseforge, so it should be available to download shortly! No new images, but all 1.12 images are now in the new 1.13 folder/name structure, and horses (and their armour) had to be re-done to match the new format. Enjoy!

Hi All,
Thanks for your patience with the 1.13 update for this pack. I have updated all of the file names to match the new file structure (thanks for that, Mojang! ), but I have just noticed a problem with horses, which will take a little while to resolve (see the attached image). I am away on holiday for the next week, so it will be a couple of weeks at least before the first 1.13 release.

Hi All!
Sorry for the lack of activity and updates recently. I have spoken to @ShadowTime1290 and I am now in the process of updating the pack for 1.13. There's quite a bit of work involved, as just about every block name has changed, so all of the files need renaming and some of the models need updating.
I'll get an update out as soon as possible

Ok - how much physical RAM does your computer have?
Googling that error message, the majority of answers come back as "increase your memory allocation". If you have at least 12GB of RAM, try using the following Java arguments:
This will allocate a start of 6GB, and a maximum of 8GB. This is what I use, and FoolCraft runs perfectly (with 16GB of RAM)

It appears from this error message that you are running out of memory - how much RAM are you allocating to Minecraft in the launcher? According to their Curse page, FoolCraft requires a minimum of 6GB, so you (ideally) need a PC with at least 12GB (preferably 16).

@Gareee_T,
I think you are getting confused...
This thread is about the recent update to Minecraft Java Edition, to version 1.12. By the way you are talking about Windows Store and Minecraft Store, I think you are using the Minecraft Windows 10 Edition (which, just to confuse things, is now called "Minecraft", along with the Pocket and Console Editions )
You might find more relevant helpful information in the correct section of the forum: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/minecraft-windows-10-edition

Another (small) update to the pack: parrots!

A new update to the pack!
Still left to do: parrots, beds, the illusionist, and many of the concrete and concrete powder blocks. I'm getting there!
Note: Some of the glazed terracotta blocks I had to take an educated guess at what the Mojang designers were trying to portray at 16x (an example of this is the purple block, with what looks like a sword and pick design) - please let me know if you feel I am wide of the mark with any of these designs

Short answer: You can't.
Slightly longer answer: You can't without paying for a second account (i.e. buy Minecraft again)
