    posted a message on Assistance with Datatags and PrimedTnt

    alright, I figured it out. the data type changed from byte to short in the snapshot/1.9. the correct way to notate the datatag would be

    /scoreboard players tag @e[type=PrimedTnt] add Lit {Fuse:1s}

    I have been trying to tag a PrimedTnt entity close to exploding. I can't seem to get the datatag format correct.

    /scoreboard players tag @e[type=PrimedTnt] add Lit {Fuse:1b}

    This is what I have at the moment. If I could have some insight as to what part of the formatting is incorrect, it would be much apprecated

    Edit: Important to note, I am using the latest snapshot

    posted a message on Super Mario 64 Models needed
    I need some Super Mario 64 models for a project of mine, however I can't seem to find any models online. I've also attempted to find a ripping tutorial, but any and all i find are 5+ years old and outdated. Help finding the models/tutorial would be greatly appreciated (tutorial more so, but either is fine).

    I currently need the Mad piano and Bookend from the Big Boo's Haunt stage, and i need the EXACT models/textures for them (no remodels/retextures)

    Never again.

    This server is very anger-inducing. They say each death is a minor set-back, but each death resets you back to nothing. Its ridiculously easy to get into protected areas via TNT and creepers, and raid one's chest, which seems a common thing to happen. and every time you die, you need to spend another 50c on a helmet, which slowly whittles away your credits. Not to mention the fact that you can't just ask for some, or you get kicked and have to spend another 2 hours getting back on. The dynmap is noticeably behind, which is hard if your aiming for a planet. Refugees are considerably O.P. in PvP, as no one wants to risk losing reputation. This makes them able to get away with ridiculous things with little to no punishment. It's absurdly far between "close" planets, and the ship's speed doesn't help. You say that there is one main pirate planet, but the truth is, they invade all planets with something useful. This leads to most planets having multiple kos'ers who annihilate you and your ship on sight.

    I'm sorry, but i have better things to do than wait 2 hours to die 15 times in a row.

    Very cool, confirmed. The fire can also set players alight who walk through it.

    huh, didn't think of that. but so long as it's out of the player's reach, it should be fine.

    and one thing i forgot to mention; if you activate the command blocks twice, you can see the structure (until the double tall grass updates, at least)

    posted a message on Invisible light sources
    So i was watching some youtube videos and saw some obscure video utilizing a 1.7 glitch to create invisible light sources via fire. The one thing that bugged me was that there was no redstone, no good way to activate it. after some experimenting, i was able to create the same design using 2 command blocks. the first command is
    /setblock [x] [y] [z] minecraft:fire
    , with this command
    /setblock [x] [y] [z] minecraft:double_plant
    1 block below the first one. what this basically does is summon the bottom of a double tall plant with fire on top. the fire updates the double plant, which then gets removed without updating the fire. the fire tile then goes invisible, as it has nothing to latch on to texture-wise, leaving a fire-bound light.

    *note* if you haven't guessed already, firetick needs to be false.

    posted a message on Command block question
    if you want it to die instantly, use
    /summon Slime [x] [y] [z] {Size:-1}
    it'll summon an inverted slime that'll die instantly

    yep, /summon uses optional coordinates, and you can also set a custom health tag for the zombie/skeleton so it'll last longer in the sunlight

    posted a message on Command block question
    have you tried utilizing the 20 minute day/night cycle? you could have a daylight sensor hooked up to detect a certain time of day, then set a redstone block that triggers the desired command block and a command block to remove the redstone block. then wait 20 minutes for the cycle to restart the system. (i can throw together some pictures for you if you'd like)
