    here is my idea for minecraft: voidstone. it is a special block that you can find ONLY in the bottom-most layers (the bedrock layers, to be exact). it has the capabilities to be made into ANYTHING! (tools,weapons, armor, etc). an interesting property of voidstone is that when you mine it, it RISES instead of falls; otherwise, it would fall into the void. it is also very noticeable; it glows (slightly), it is a lighter color than regular stone, and when you walk on it, it sounds like wood. an interesting note: you can mine it by hand however, if you mine it with :WOE: , you get TWO instead of one. also, if you smelt it, you will get TEN. i am not sure what its durability rating would be, maybe somewhere between :Iron: and :Diamond: .

    edit: it appears i didnt make my idea clear enough so; i will now. when i said it is found in the bottom layers, i didn't mean the EXACT bottom. it floats because if there happens to be a hole below it, the item would just fall straight to the void; also, it would be punishment to those who mine straight down. i forgot to mention that if you -with a crafting table- place it in the center with obsidian on the sides and eyes of ender in the corners, you would get 'prepped' voidstone; if you put that in the furnace, you would get five (instead of ten, to make it fair). when i said it could be make anything, i really meant anything: armor, tools, weapons, doors, pressure plates, fences, stairs, and slabs. i am not sure if it would be that durable; maybe between :GoldBar: and :Iron: . if you mine the voidstone with :WOE: , you will still get two; the reason i chose an odd tool is because it would force you to bring it along with you (it also gives it another purpose)

    i agree. an installation video is NEVER enough, there should be text explaining each and every step; for clarity. unfortunately, heuristix didn't think much on the installation instructions, resulting in many people getting crash errors.

    i have both an idea and question. did anyone make a mod that allows you to build a moving robot mech? if not, could someone make one please? thanking in advance :steve_csi:


    edit: i already have an idea for some mechs but, due to my lack in programming and mod making, i need someone else to make it for me -_- anyways, here is my idea:
    using armor, a dispenser, and a sword (maybe sticks...), put together in some way (ill put the recipes in later), you would have made a minecraft mech using vanilla items.
    since it uses armor for its body, there is only 5 kinds of mechs named as so: leather mech, chainmail mech, iron mech, gold mech, and diamond mech. also, it uses a sword similarly in the same order: wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond. the recipes for the mechs will be something like this (the example will be for the leather mech; the recipe will be the same for all the others, with different materials accordingly):
    the torso:

    :: :LA: ::
    :: :: ::
    the entire thing:
    :|: :LA: :|:
    :WSWORD: :LPANTS: :Furnace:
    :: :Lboots: :: :Furnace: =dispenser :LA: =torso
    its looks might be related to its body materials.
    to use:
    1. build on crafting table, should appear as item
    2. place in open space; you will need some room for it
    3. mount by right-clicking on it
    4. check that you have arrows in inventory. if not, go get some arrows!
    5. left-click= melee(sword strike) right-click=shoot dispenser gun
    6. enjoy and take revenge on creepers and enderdragon(s) alike!

    tip: to dismount, crouch (default left-shift)
    the health of the mech would be more-or-less the same as the armor it was made from; actually, the health COULD be represented by the armor bar, :Notch:
    also, there should be other 'vehicles' besides the mech. maybe a tank; built like so:

    the ammo might be either arrows or firecharges,
