the server has no plugins at all, all vanilla, and you must have just joined at the wrong time, because other people are on the server, just not 24/7, if you dont enjoy being on the server, i respect that, but please let me or shutllama know that you wont be joining, so that we can un whitelist you to save room for others who do want to play on the server
ah, yes it would probably be that you are using 1.8, but this is a snapshto server, i forgot to mention it in the post, sorry, just go back to the launcher, and click edit profile, click the box saying ällow development versions" and then click use version > latest version. click play, and it should work

Hi! I am on holidays atm for a month, and wanted to install minecraft on the computer i am using here (windows) but when i try to start the launcher, it has some sort of error message:

I would like it to be big! I use snapshots, so even if it takes a long time for some people, its like getting a small update every week! and I love it!
one thing I honestly don't understand, is why people say that minecraft is adding too much, or when people say they should stop adding updates. who doesn't like new things!?
I really love this idea, it would make multiplayer so much more fun!
Lots of people have been talking about the lag they might cause from loading chunks, well I have a solution:
If a player is a very long way away, then instead of flying all that way and loading all the chunks, the pigeon could just fly out of the players render distance and then teleport outside of the receivers render distance.
i want roses back, but i think they should not naturally generate, instead you should be able to get them by putting a rose bush in the crafting grid and get 3 or 4 roses
