Just got reminded of this thread while browsing Reddit and I just wanted to say thank you dbdii407 and everyone else for keeping up this pack. I lost interest in Minecraft a while back and as a result stopped working on this. With all of the new features being added though it's definitely regained my interest. I may (if I have time) work on a 'final' version once Minecraft is released, but I can't promise anything. Seems like you guys are doing great at keeping this up to date already :smile.gif:

No, it makes it so multiple connected blocks of glass appear as one glass pane rather than individual glass blocks.
Apr 3, 2011Posted in: Resource PacksQuote from MrPunk »So what are the steps, dumb it down for me lol. Im in my Dumb-ass Phase currently.
1. Start with a clean minecraft.jar.
2. Download the patcher, open it & click "Patch".
3. Put your texture pack zip file in the default texture pack folder (On Windows you can open Minecraft, go to "Mods and Texture Packs" and click "Open texture pack folder" button to find the folder; On OS X, it's in *Your Home Folder*/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks).
4. Open Minecraft, select your texture pack from the in-game selector.
That's it. =)

Of course lol.
Oh well, thanks anyways though.
Go to "*Your Home Folder*/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks". =)
Apr 2, 2011This is incredible. Thank you for this, works 100% perfectly for me.Posted in: Resource Packs
Quote from 1337 Chris »Actually explain on how to use it or make a tutorial. I have no idea how to use this. Xau's was much simpler. I don't know what to do with the texture pack. Yes, I've read the entire post.
The explanation is right in the OP you supposedly read.
Mar 30, 2011Sorry the website was down for a bit guys, I forgot I ran out of funds. :tongue.gif: I've put up the direct link to the download in the OP in case it goes down again.Posted in: WIP Resource Pack
Anyway, as to the status of the pack: I've been working on a couple of things but there's not much to show at the moment. Exams are coming up right now so I've been preoccupied but I'll try to get an update out ASAP when 1.4 hits. After that more updates might have to wait till around the end of April unfortunately. After that it will be smooth sailing. =)

Well this is embarassing... lol. I'll have it fixed in a sec. =)
Edit: Alright, get the fixed version here. Sorry about that :tongue.gif:

Maybe he wants to be able to upload pictures to his own site? This thread is for suggesting websites to add to the whitelist, which he is doing.
Mar 12, 2011As far as I know foliage & grass color pngs won't override the default if you're simply using the texture pack selector. So even if you have a modified grasscolor.png in the texture pack .zip file, the game will still use the default from minecraft.jar. You can use xau's HD patcher to overwrite the default though.Posted in: WIP Resource Pack
I totally share your hatred for the way the default grasscolor.png makes certain areas look, Chichen. Just too harsh & saturated. I'll make my own today or tomorrow so you can use the HD patcher to replace the default.

That's the URL that CloudApp uses - I would love for it to be added as it's a really great ad-free image host. Here's an example link to an image:Posted in: Forum Announcements
And the direct link to the image:
Edit: I see a few others have already requested it. :tongue.gif:
Mar 9, 2011moontrain posted a message on (READ THIS) How to format your texture pack thread titlesGreat idea! =) Just changed my topic title.Posted in: Resource Packs
Shameless nitpick: shouldn't it be 16px? 16x doesn't really mean anything. :tongue.gif:
Mar 9, 2011Alright guys, I've finally put together a Beta 1.3 compatibility update. =) Download it here or through the website. Nothing else has been added at the moment, but I'll be working on the ores next.Posted in: WIP Resource Pack
Oh and let me know if anything is still missing or broken! I think I got everything though. :tongue.gif:
Mar 7, 2011Really sorry about the missing update everyone, life & school especially have taken priority at the moment. I can't promise anything right now since things will be getting busier for me in the next month but I will spend some time to work on a 1.3 update at least. In the meantime you can use one of the fixes posted here (major thanks to those who did them!)Posted in: WIP Resource Pack
Thanks for being patient with me!
