Why do you want to join this server?: I love playing with the snapshots, but most of the servers for them are just unorganized messes - this one looks better, though.
What are you best at?: I tend to be good with building large forts that put functionality over style, though I dabble in farming and interior design.
Do you have Skype and a mic?: Nope.
How long will you be able to be on everyday (minimum 1 hour): My sleep pattern's weird so it really depends - at worst probably 2 hours, at best 6+ hours.
Write a little something about yourself: I've been playing since Beta 1.7, and I love the game for all of the potential it has - building, fighting mobs, exploring, whatever the player wants to do. I tend to try and create forts with all of my needs nearby - things like farms, storage, and sometimes even mob grinders all put together into a functional building. I can be stubborn but otherwise I think I'm pretty okay to be around, and I'd love to join you and the other players here!

Definitely a recommended pack for anyone who wants textures that keep the classic look of Minecraft while still improving on several things.

posted a message on Snowglobes - Snowy Decor [Banner and Poll added!]
    Quote from Hexacore

I dont normally respond to suggestions, nor do I usually agree with them when I do respond to them, but this would be something I would enjoy seeing in the game. Snow-globes are simple and they dont drastically change the game, in fact they add to it in a positive way. Currently, in my opinion, there are not enough aesthetic blocks in the game(Even though there are quite a few now.). So, to show my support for this suggestion, I made a 3D Render of my idea of what a snow-globe would look like.

Of course, it wouldn't use high resolution textures like this one so that others could use it.

Wow, that render's amazing! Do you mind if I add it to the main post?

Also, thanks for the support! I'm glad you (and several others) like the idea of this item.

Are you looking for a great way to spruce up your winter-y shelters? Want a pretty distraction for when the night comes? Look no further than a snowglobe! Snowglobes would be small items (around the scale of a flower pot) you can craft and place around the house. The crafting recipe would take 3 glass, 1 snowball, and 3 planks.
After crafting a snowglobe, you can place it on a block. It'll appear as a small little, well, snowglobe, about the size of other aesthetic blocks. A small little glass thing with a wood base and snow inside. Right-clicking it would cause the snow inside to shake!I hope you like this idea for a small little item to make a house a home. I feel like a small item like this would fit well into the game among other decorations, and it's small enough to not significantly impact the game. I hope you've liked this short idea, and if you did, leave feedback for how this could be improved!

    Updates
    • January 7 - Hexacore has made a great render! This should give you a good idea of how a snowglobe would look.
    • January 8th - I've made a simple banner with Hexacore's render. It's not the best, but I hope you like it!

oh, so you mean like some kind of rideable connected minecart?

Essentially, yeah. It'd also have more health to take more hits, and look pretty cool :).

I also was thinking about how you could get them to attack you, and I came up with the idea of them getting angry if you mine ore near them. It makes sense that the miners would get a bit angry if some stranger came from the surface and started taking precious ore, after all.

Seems like a cool idea- especially the concept of exploring mineshafts searching for the clinking noises of the miners mining. Perhaps when killed, they could drop things like gold nuggets, or unsmelted ore.

Why trains? Think about how it would influence Minecraft. Maybe if you could connect minecarts then sure. But trains? Just no!

What's the big difference between a train, which is essentially just some minecarts put together, and minecarts connected together, might I ask?
