By the way I want to thanks Pikachu4170 & iLexiconn because they helped a lot of people for me on this topic. So, thanks a lot guys !!
P.S.: I like your signature, Pikachu
I'm really tired about insults I can receive on this post (even if they are removed by moderators) just because I made a mod. I know that for some reasons, the installer doesn't work on some computers but I wrote a part in the FAQ that explains you how to fix it and if it still doesn't work, I wrote a part that explains how to install it manually. If you don't know how to read, that's not my problem. You didn't pay for anything, I did that for fun, so please stop insulting me. I don't reply to all posts because most of them are questions that were already answered. Please go back to pages 1~30. When I did this mod I was in vacations so I had time; now I study again it's hard to find some free time for it. THANKS.
Hey guys I have made a discovery! For youtube videos in full screen, you copy the link from a youtube page like and you simply add _popup to it. So it looks like this: . The video will play like it would in full screen.
Ok sorry everyone for the broken links; the Minecraft Forum post editor is TOTALLY broken (I don't know if it's only me or if anyone else is having the problem) and replaced all & by & (which is the Web character code for the '&' symbol) when I clicked on "edit this post" and it broke all mah links ;(
Mine dosent work it says "Installation Failed please read FAQ" and that dint help, FAQ dosent list anything useful
When updating from 1.6.2 to 1.6.4 I changed the "Installation Failed, Read FAQ" to "You need Java 32 bits"; that's why you can't find anything usefull in the FAQ.
So the question you are searching for is "Q: When I right-click my screens it says "You need Java 32 bits"".

"WHY AN INSTALLER?" Try to change your Java executable to the 32 bits one. You know how to do that? I doubt. The installer (must) do that for you. That's why "AN INSTALLER".
Then, "CAN'T YOU JUST TELL THOSE n00b5 WHY THEY DIDN'T GET IT TO WORK!?" It's written. You need java 32bits :V
And finally; your crash doesn't come from my mod, but from your "Atlas" mod or I don't know what; it crashes because you don't have enough RAM. Buy a better computer
Once I installed the mod with Forge, I went to turn on the Web Screen and was greeted with the message "Please use java 32 bits; for that please read FAQ."
I have a 32 bit java, and where is this FAQ it tells me about. How can I fix this?
Ok.. I'll put that part in STRONG because it seems that people can't see it; like you...
Sweet mod.
Also i think a good way to port this is by using the IsMacOS method somewhere in MC's Code and just like basically doing stuff.
Or using Bootcamp to run Windows on mac(I have a Mac currently as we speak)
Thanks! The problem is not here; my mod can run on Mac too, java is cross-platform; but I'm using a native that I made, and this one is made in C++, and this isn't cross-platform. And, I'm not sure that I can install OS X on my computer since I have an AMD CPU ;( Maybe I can emulate it; I have no idea!
Sorry 1000 times for the broken link problem
They changed my VPS IP while I was at school studying; so I was only able to change it now... sorry again, BuildLight. (fixed )
asked for news not whos working on it
but really me thort u was XD dont understand it fully but asking for a camra turtle on the computercraft forums is not aloud S:
On the youtube browser when I click on a video I get the message "The Adobe Flashplayer is required for video playback." and the video just wont play. Is this a recurring problem and is there anyway to fix this?
I got inspired today and decided to make a quick little office with 2 screens:
However I was only able to get that large of resolution on those small of screens by having them be "repeaters" of much larger screens outside:
Which brings me to my point, is it possible to have a resolution setting of some kind for screens? Or if not that, then somehow allow "repeater" screens to be clicked on like normal screens (maybe adding a special device or option to differ them from a normal "repeater")?
Side note: I sent you a PM earlier about the mod not working for me. It was just that I wasn't using 32-bit Java to run Minecraft. You might want to be a bit more clear about that on the main post.
Screen-dependent settings will be available in another version; but probably not the next.
I know that your problem was that you were using 64bits java instead of 32bits java; but my installer should change your java version automatically; and I don't know why it doesn't work on some computers: that's why I need your logs.
Oh holy minecraft this is impressive how long did it take to figure out how to make this? Also do not try 64x64 it brought my minecraft down to 4 frps from an average of 700 just reduce the size by 2 each side and you should get around 300-400 however I find it to not work when I enter in the url :/
Finally if we do increase the screen size does that make the quality increase or decrease?
It does nothing on the quality; it just simulates a bigger web browser; but you won't see big pixels.
HELP!!! I installed the mod with forge and all and i use magic launcher(it can run forge too) but everytime i make the screen it says
"Installation failed please read FAQ" then i went to the real Minecraft.exe and it worked the only problem is that i dont have optifine in Minecraft.exe only in magic launcher so it bugs :(( i cant get it to work with magic launcher please help!! ;(
When a server that i have set up was set to 0.5b i was able to join without any issues, now with the latest update I am no longer able to join the server without my minecraft crashing immidiatly. My friend is able to join without issues and I have updated everything. I am positive that i updated the server correctly http://pastebin.com/7xVaz0fg i am about to reinstall everything
SHUTDOWN ALL YOUR SCREENS AND BACKUP YOUR WORLDS BEFORE UPDATING
Here's the changelog:
WebDisplay 0.6:
- Fixed keyboard breaking particles
- Now screens can be as large as you want, but not 1x1
- Added the "unload distance" parameter in the config: if this distance is reached, the screen is unloaded.
- Screen repeaters now deletes themself if their source was deleted.
- Added the "shutdown" function to shutdown the screen using ComputerCraft.
- Added the minePad.
Installer 0.8:
- Updated WebDisplay to 0.6
- More debug infos in the log file
I installed it and got the "Install failed" screen. However (unlike some other people on here, who can't seem to read) I left a PM with links to pastbins for both logs. Best of luck squashing those bugs!
I would like it if my laptop IRL didn't suck so bad when the monitor in-game was on, it was like 3 frames per second. I would like it if it was less laggy. when my minecraft is on without the computer in-game on/ normal, it was at 30 FPS average.
Yes I know that this mod is a "little bit" laggy; but I can't do anything for that sorry :S
I got the mod about half an hour ago and the screen works fine but when I go on youtube it says I have to get adobe flash player when I already have it, I tried reinstalling adobe flash player but it still won't work. Did the installer not install the mod correctly?
Netflix doesnt work like uh. its a black screen when playing a video i think its cause netflix uses microsoft silverlight having to do something with it
Yes it's because netflix uses silverlight so I can't fix it sorry :S
In .minecraft there are more awesomium files, I don't know if this text document is the right one. There are only these things inside the file:

I hope you can help me, I want the mod absolutely
Hey BuildLight,
you don't have to answer to my post any more. Now I tried the manual installation and now the mod works perfectly. It's so awesome
Thank you for the mod and the support
For those who had their file deleted just after that the download finished, if you have Norton, try to disable your antivirus; I know it might be weird but it looks like that Norton detects it as virus; I have no idea why....
Hey BuildLight Awesome Mod!
I have been streaming it some days and my viewers are like "WTF youtube in minecraft??".
Can't wait till the update for 64bit java comes out because 1GB of RAM only makes my minecraft SO slow :(.
Is there a ETA when this is going to be released? Thanks
Yeah I know that 32bits is slow but 64bits version will take some time because I have recode a full part of the mod and schools restarted in France; which reduce a lot my free time.
Wow, I really love this mod! One thing that bugs me though is that I can't hear any sound. Is that a bug, or does the mod not include sounds? If itdoesn't, I'd really like you to add speakers that'll have the sound range of a jukebox maybe? I think it would be really cool at least
This mods include the sounds; it's really strange that it doesn't work on your computer :S
best mod ever ! keep up the good work ! and for the people that can only play videos on youtube. you need this version of adobe flash playerhttp://aihdownload.a...ssd_aaa_aih.exe . install it and then restart your computer. and your videos should work just fine !
If this solutions works for everyone I love you man.
the WebScreen doesn't still work I've tried the new installer, but the webscreen is only white and if I enter a website, it stays white.
I don't know what i could do any more.
55KingFelix55
In your .minecraft, pastebin the awesomium.log file.
I think it's because when you increase the RAM, it increases the maximum string length, or how much it can store. Because the strings are basically the RAM, so it sort of makes sense. One more thing, if you increase it the character limit for the URL is 64 characters.
Great Mod! i got i to work but wen i go to YouTube i can't watch videos because i don't have adobe flash player... but i do have it i think it doesn't know how to work in minecraft. what do i do?
PROBLEM
i have a 64bit windows 8 laptop and when i download the installer for the mod it dissapears from my laptop and once i managed to click on it as soon as i downloaded and it said
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
and i am the admin of my laptop, if there are any permissions not set by default, can you tell me how to activate them.
Someone has this problem too; what is your antivirus?
Also, you can open Youtube in fullscreen by clicking the fullscreen button in the player, and it will open flash player in another window. You'll need to switch back and from the two windows, but to close it, you just either click the exit full screen button or just close it.
Hope it helped.
i have had enough! this mod wont work for me! i HAVE A WINDOWS PC AND I CANT RUN THIS MOD! I INSTALL IT WITH THE INSTALLER OF THIS AND FORGE AND WHEN I GO AND PLAY IT SAYS INSTALLATION FAILED EVERY TIME ON THE DAMN SCREEN! ...! i have restarted several times and also reinstalled and a new launcher and a new .minecraft FOLDER AND NOOTHIIIIINNNGGG
help plz!!!!!!!
i have had enough! thoses noob guys! THEY CANT READ A FKING FAQ WHERE IS WRITTEN HOW I CAN HELP YOU WHEN I READ THOSE NOOB MESSAGES I WANT TO HAVE A GUN AND SHOOT ON THEM! AND WHY THE HELL DO THEY WRITE IN UPPERCASE AND WHY DO THEY PUT SO MUCH EXCLAMATION MARKS ITS ANNOYING AND USELESS!!!
kill him plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great mod. Semi insecure though. Id like to point out if you use file:// and point to a location on the disc, you could open any document, especially ones with sensitive data, granted you must know of their existance and location, but it's still a little nerve-racking if you've got data that would be catastrophic to you if it fell into the wrong hands.
^^ Not really; web rendering is client-side; it means that if someone open the file:///C:\mypassword.txt then you'll only be able to see it on the client which owns the file; other clients will see "Not found"
Great Mod! But I'm running this on a forge vanilla LAN/Hamachi server, and it came up with the "String Length Longer Than Maximum Allowed" error when I put in the link. Does anyone know how to fix this? I was going to use it for a group watching cinema sortof thing but now I have to choose my links a lot more carefully...
Yeah this is a bug that i have to fix sorry about it :S

No; but before doing the linux version I want to make the 64bits version
It should work with manual optifine installation. I won't support magic launcher atm. Again; the 64bits version will resolve that.
It's not as easy as it looks like
Why D: ?
Atm no you can't use it; however if you read the FAQ I'll be able to help you.
Nice ! This is going to be in the main post!
danny_ep said that installing this version of flash http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/live/install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe fixes the bug; if it worked for you, please tell me. Thanks.
If you didn't saw the manual installation part then I REALLY suggest you to use the installer; manual installation is for clever guys.
Go to your .minecraft folder; open "mods", remove WebDisplays.zip
No. However the FAQ can help you.

Here
Yup minePad is totally bugged I should fix that Thanks!
Web Displays + Magic Launcher = Death.

No sorry, I have sooo much to do before!
I can do it but the problem is that you need to launch Minecraft in 32bits mode and using the old launcher/FTB launcher it's a little bit difficult :S
Here we reached a stupidity level of 1 divided by 0; that is; infinite.
0
It has to work on every windows; please read the FAQ.
Lololololol oops
In the FAQ there are some tips to reduce lag.
Yup thanks I answered you!
Yes I know that this mod is a "little bit" laggy; but I can't do anything for that sorry :S

Yeah maybe...
Have you closed your Minecraft before? Else, maybe restarting your computer can fix it
Read FAQ
What happens?
Ok I'll ask him which antivirus he/she has thanks and I'll answer you later by PM

Read FAQ
Someone has this problem too; what is your antivirus?
Then I am sorry but like I said tons of time I don't know what causes your problem so I can't find the solution. Sorry.
It's time to buy you a brain and learn how to read. Really.
And that fixed it? Mhhhh... weird!
Yeah atm I can't fix that sorry
