btw more related to the question you asked, a lot of people i'm still close to and met from here have ended up in friend groups wholly disconnected from MCF by now. there's still stragglers like me who will never leave ever but that's the state of things :/

i recently played my longest playthrough yet in a friend's server >:) i made high quality pixel arts (in survival!!) as well.

well, my *first* first time i tried and struggled to make a short bridge between two cliffs and was interrupted by night creatures every 20 seconds. so i guess the answer is play very cluelessly. i don't remember if i ever finished it since it was on a friend's laptop in 2010

i imagine the first timer experience does not change much in 2023 lol, besides seeing a billion cute new mobs and maybe falling into The Abyss because that's how the world generates now.

one summer night i made a mcf account on a whim and today marks the 10th year anniversary of that day, wow !
