I tried connecting to the server, and I never got to the phase of logging in. I tried connecting to trident.oracle-mc.com but that was in 1.7.10, so I switched to 1.7.10 and never got PAST the logging in phase.

    1. I'm used to developing plugins in 1.8, and I have no experience with previous versions of Minecraft.

    2. Not to be rude, but if you tell me to join a server, please make sure the server is up.

Hello, I am a Java programmer. I have been programming since I was 8, and I have known Java since 14. I am experienced in Java, but I'm new to the Bukkit API, but that does not mean I won't make projects of high quality. I offer my services for free, as I simply want to gain experience and knowledge of the Bukkit API. I can make high-quality custom plugins quickly, and will help maintain and fix bugs with my work. If you are onterested, contact me via Skype (ViperLordX), and make sure you mention in your contact request that you need me as a dev, as I usually reject random contact requests. I will not engage in massive projects, but I am completely willing to create small to medium plugins. My only conditions are that I be treated with respect and not be pushed beyond my abilities.

posted a message on Looking for a Plugin Dev who can make/edit any bukkit/spigot plugin.

I am an experinced programmer, but I have little experience making them. I will offer my services for free. I will be much better at making plugins than editing others' plugins. I have plenty of knowledge of the Spigot API, but I haven't made many plugins to date. If you still need a developer, I will gladly make plugins on the conditions that I am treated with respect and that you don't try to push me past my limit.

posted a message on Looking to hire plugin developer - Hire for real pay, you will receive money for your work.

I have very little experience in making plugins, but I have already made a few small ones, and I'm learning. I'm ready to take on a large project, and I won't be accepting payment for it. Any plugin I make will be free. I have plenty of free time to do research and code, so I can most likely make plugins quickly. I have only made one serious plugin so far which contains very little, but I know enough to make larger ones. If you (Or anyone) is interested, please contact me via Skype at ViperLordX, but make sure you specify in your contact request that you want me as a plugin developer, as I will turn down most random contact requests. My only conditions is that I not be pushed too hard, be treated with respect, and that you are at least somewhat tech literate.

posted a message on Searching for builder(s)

I'm an active Minecraft player who likes to use redstone and command blocks, and I'm currently developing a minigame, but to say my building skills are limited would be an understatement. I'm not good at it, and I cannot build large maps. I would like to find one of the following:

-A person willing to host a server without Hamachi to test the map on

-A few good builders who would be given exclusive Beta access

I do not need the server, but it would be hard to test my minigame without one. For the builders to apply, I will need the following:

    1. Age

    2. Building skill level out of 10 (Be honest)

    3. Steam and/or email

    4. Prior building experience

For the maps, I would like the following:

    - Multiple floating islands separated by gaps further than a player can jump by default

    -Somewhat natural terrain

-Holes into the void on some islands

-Tall structures (10-15 blocks, buildings and/or trees, no solid walls without gaps, sort of ruins)

Thank you, and have a nice day! Even if you don't want to be a builder, feel free to apply to be a Beta tester with your age and Steam/email!

No preference, but I excel in making vanilla creations, especially in single commands. I can help make minigames which are not included with Realms.

How much experience do you have with command blocks? A clock doesn't need redstone input to turn on. Buttons aren't a good way to go in a room, because if there are two people, and one person presses it but the other person is closer, the other person will be affected.

Then by your definition, your method is not "the best way", and mine is not worse. Both are equally efficient- all that changes, as I had previously stated— is if a loop is run or people get teleported by the vanilla method of spawn point to reset their scores after death. The pro of my method is that a clock for respawning isn't required. The con of it is that a room is required, but that also means an easier way for players to choose to go back into the game as a spectator or return to the hub.

Yours is not as multiplayer-friendly. If two people die at the same time, only one of them will be affected by the pressure pad, and if there is no room to walk, the pressure pad will be jammed.

    I don't think that's possible.

The best way to use it is the most efficient, multiplayer-friendly way.
