Maybe I haven't researched it enough, but why exactly is this happening? Is it just becoming too expensive to maintain?
I'm sure going to miss it here, I don't know where I'm going to get my mods now.

I don't even know what to say.
This argument you're making is just so...
Ridiculous.
If they allowed it on one so that players with small amounts of time can get things, they have to allow it for all.
Then there are players spending $500 buying enchanted diamond armor and weapons beating players who wanted it to be fair.
Sorry but I can't see any reasoning in letting servers sell gameplay advantages.
EDIT: The $500 spending would be on every Factions server existing. Sorry to make people think i was referencing Hypixel, they did a great job.

It's interesting that Mojang's starting to do this now. The EULA update happened such a long time ago. I'm definitely on board with it though. I'm against self-entitled server owners trying to make a profit off of content they do not own.

I think people still got the EULA wrong. Server owners can still make money on their servers.
They can't take your money and give you an enchanted sword.
But they can take your money so that you can play on the server.
Many people on Twitch has a so called sub server witch means that you have to be a sub to them to be able to play on their server.
To be a sub to someone on Twitch cost $4.99 every month.
Other people have a Patreon server and you need to pay them thru Patreon to be able to get on the server.
That is completely legal. It's the selling of items and rank inside the game that is "illigal".
They are allowed to sell pieces of the game that isn't theirs. The EULA does not prevent servers from selling content that isn't theirs, the idea of it is to prevent them from giving advantages to single players through purchases. This is what Mojang says, of course.
This is a lot of misconception about this, this is not to prevent servers from making money or prevent scamming of any kind. If that was the goal, they would have made it so servers can't make money from any perk. By allowing cosmetics and other things that "don't give an advantage," Mojang is effectively encouraging servers to scam little kids.
Don't believe me? Look at Hypixel, a server compliant with the EULA. I love Hypixel so I don't mean this to be an insult against them, but if you look at their paid perks before and after the EULA, you'd have to be high on something to think that the current perks are less of a scam than the old ones. Kids are spending hundreds of dollars for perks that give absolutely nothing. Hypixel is forced to squeeze out every last dollar they can in order to fund their server and employees, and that means convincing little kids to buy dumb things. Smaller servers are going to have to do everything they can to rip off kids for useless perks in order to keep their server going. Mojang is doing anything but preventing scamming.
And how about fair play? Pay to win servers are bad right? When we think about pay to win we always forget about the most valuable currency: time. Just like with my above example, you'd be high to think that everything is going to be perfectly fair just because you can't buy things with real money. That does not put aside the fact that players who have been playing on a server for a long time with have significantly better items than players who just recently joined. Again, let me use Hypixel. On Hypixel you can buy upgrades with coins won from playing games. If I play a game for the first time, players who have played for much longer than me will have an advantage again me due to the amount of time they have spent play. Before the EULA, ranks were given coin boosts. This allowed donators to get perks faster than normal players, but also allowed new players to catch up to older players. Some players can't play as much as others, so being able to buy perks that allow players with less time and more money to be on the same playing field as players with less money and more time is not unfair, it is fair.
Mojang either needs to allow servers to make money on fair perks or not make money at all. This whole forcing servers into squeezing out money for stupid cosmetics and claiming that they are doing this to make gameplay fair is a load of crap.

I ended up figuring out the problem, they only deposit once they have 16 items.

In the newest version it says you can make farmers put crops in a chest if you put an item frame with a hoe on the chest in their range.
I haven't been able to get this to work, does anyone know how this works?

Ah thanks! Any of chance of a Spigot plugin version of that being released?

So I saw this http://mc.lunatri.us/SchematicaPlugin but there isn't anything there. What is that supposed to be?

Minecraft Fourms now has a servers list, and it says that featured server are "coming soon."
Could we possibly be given a time range when this will come out? Or does anyone know when this will come out?

Version 1.8.0 of Minecraft has a terrible bug where players can turn invisible on certain servers. This is fixed in 1.8.8 as far as I know, but Forge 1.8.8 has essentially no mods for it. Is there any mod out there that provides a fix for this bug? I have not encountered one myself.
If not, could this possibly be made? If such a mod is not possible, particles appear to still show on invisible players, so a mod that just throws blobs of particles on every player could provide a reasonable solution to this.

The forge version I'm running on 1.7.10 is the version meant for 1.7.10. I do the the liteloader compatible version, if that could somehow be the problem.

Is anyone else having this issue? It happens even without mods but only on single player or forge servers. It works fine in vanilla... but oddly not with forge installed.
This is with 1.7.10 and 1.8.x forge.

Really liking the new features in the recent update! I'd really like to see the trident be returned to its former self however, a regular fishing rod is much better than it now.

A spigot plugin?

Does there happen to be a bukkit plugin that prevents player from using this mod on a server?
0
Reduce your render distance to 16 or less.
0
Is there any way to prevent players from using this mod on the server side?
0
Is that from your forge logs? Can you post the crash report you get from your launcher right after your game crashes?
0
Same crash message? Can you post it?
