    question: does /join #<channel> work to join other channels on irc?
    (i suppose i should just test it myself)

    edit: no /join doesn't work. also changing the default channel in configIRC.txt doesn't seem to change the channel either.

    edit: and i tested this mod, it seems to work. i was in a channel, your default channel that i switched to minecraft manually with the cfg file included(which i dont think worked). very nice mod! keep up the good work.

    also i think this would be cooler as a cave dimension where the whole world is a cave system but the ore rates are cranked way up.

    cool. if you want to use my food cube sprite. here is a cleaned up version of the one i chose to go with. and am currently using.


    sorry that in the previous post i had left some nearly invisible pixels in it that show up fully colored in minecraft so i cleaned up the edges and made them go away.

    I very much like this idea and execution. I don't. however, like the idea of eating something that looks and is called shards though.

    I'm going to use this mod but change the sprites for myself. changing the shards into blue food cubes.

    here's the sprites i made if you want to use them instead or expand your mod or whatever really.



    I made 2 options that i'm having troube deciding upon for myself which one to use.

    and Im not saying you need to change anything or even should change your mod to what i like better; just offering up another option. take it or leave it.

    anyway, now im rambling, great job on the mods man, keep em coming.

    hey how can you disable this mod?
    i cant disable it via the modloader config file.


    1.go back in time and backup your .minecraft folder or at least your minecraft.jar
    2.after running a mod you don't want, revert to your backups.

    hope that helps.





    side note: im guessing its this mod that makes it so that when im killing zombies with an axe that they random drop rotten flesh(while still killing them!-they also drop more rotten flesh upon their death). I love it! it seems strange in game but in my thought it's like im hacking them up. love it love it love it! way to go maxtech.

    i suggested flint cause wood seems too easy to get. but for wood what if you made the craft formula 1plank over 1stick yeilds only 1-2 wood knives instead of 4, and like the others they have only 1 use and deal 1/2 heart dmg. it would be lame to get less from this formula but it would balance the overabundance out a bit since you could get tons of wood but you'd need to make tons of wood knives to make them useful. IDK though maybe a 1:4 craft .5 dmg and 1 use is fine. would have to test out how making/using them feels.

    how about a use for lapis since it sucks in vanilla. like making lapis knifes that are super cheap but only do half a heart.
    and if lapis is too lame(cause indeed it is) what about using flint or wood for this effect instead.

    my opinion is flint is best optoin for this. cause then it adds an early game knife thats weak but you have to search for the flint. wood would be too easy to make millions of knives and laips is just so gay and useless.

    plus flint works well with the setup you've laid in: 1 craft => 4 knives and one use for each knife would mean you have to make a lot.

    you might not need forge but since your mod adds a ton of items, anyone that wants to use other mods besides just yours might need forge to handle all the extra item ids.

    check out AMCO arrg's minecraft overhaul modpack to see how to do it right.
