    I believe its tied into sleeping. If you don't sleep for a while, rain becomes extremely common. Try sleeping more often, see if the rain becomes less common.

    Wooden sword.

    It's probably the most pointless item to make. By the time you can consider making it, you probably already have a wooden pickaxe; Thus you're better off mining stone and making a stone sword.

    Okay so, previously in the 1.5 Release my texture pack had different water colors for different biomes. For instance, when in a mushroom biome the water was a vibrant red, whereas in a Jungle the water color was a real bright green. So on and so forth.

    As of 1.6 with the 'Changing the World' or what-not update, I find that I can no longer change the water color depending on the biome.

    What am I doing wrong?

    I'm using a customized variant of Gerudoku with some textures from everywhere. I've tried putting the watercolor.png in the 'Misc' folder under 'Assets', I've tried putting it into the 'mcpatcher' file, I've tried everything I can thinking of.

    I've tried moving waterolorX into the 'mcpatcher' and 'assets' file, I've tried putting it into the 'colormap' file. I've tried everything I can think of.

    I know that this HAS to be possible, but where am I going wrong?

    I am using Optifine. Specifically; "1.7.2-Optifine_HD_U_B3". Is it the wrong version of Optifine or do I need Mcpatcher?

    It's not a new biome, it was added in 1.7. I believe it is either really uncommon, or no one likes it. Either way, it's hard to find seeds for it.

    I remember lapis being added and the wool update... I know this, I started playing a few days after Alpha was closed and Beta began. However, I'm glad I'm not in the Alpha fan club, I'm Beta. (Pun intended)

    Hmm.. Hoes aren't worth it. Thanks to melons, hoes have been utterly devalued. Just need to make a wooden hoe, til some soil, plant some melons, wait a while, enjoy the benefit.

    Hoes need a major update IMO.

    We do *NOT* need a big update, what we need is content to be *COMPLETED*... The Nether is still unfinished and needs more refinement, the End is outright useless. We don't need no' stinkin updates. What we need is more refinement to current content.

    E+10 is silly in and of itself. Cartoon violence is a joke in and of itself, Tom and Jerry had no rating on TV and it was extreme cartoon violence! I mean that mouse abused that cat so bad, it was terrible, it was extremely suggestive and promoted the stereotype of "Dog chase cat, cat chase mouse".

    So yeah, E. No point to rate it E+10. Kids aren't capable of buying minecraft without paypal or some sort of payment option which only the parental figure can provide. Parents need to decide what their children can or can not do, not some stupid rating.

    Well, I really don't like snow biomes, and I want a desert for sandstone/glass, and I want a forest for birch trees. However, I just generated a random world, and I found what I was looking for.

    Figures doesn't it? I want XYZ, I posted saying I want XYZ, then I try a random world and I find XYZ...
    The seed I found is: 2779789675583845948

    The spawn is in a jungle, and if you go away from the mountain/hills, in the opposite direction, nice desert.
    Thanks anyways though.
