posted a message on [ADV] The Archangel [1.4]
Hey all. I just combined and revised my three custom maps with the new update and more to look at and do. In this map series you find out that you have been chosen by the man upstairs to become the next Archangel but an existing Archangel will do everything in his power to destroy you.

All feedback is accepted. Let me know if anything seems out of place.

posted a message on Should Notch even bother to come back?
Notch should come back if he desires. Jeb is the better lead developer but notch is also great. I do agree though that he got pretty lazy around when the beta started. Just because someone doesn't listen to the community's suggestions, doesn't mean that they are a bad developer. I think they should just ask for certain input on bugs and additions. If you let the community decide on what should be added and how, you will never satisfy everyone. We're actually lucky that they give us a chance to be in on decisions because you don't see other developers asking their community what they want added to a game. Its good that Jeb listens but look at the ladder situation. He changed it due to request and then changed it back due to request in result, not satisfying everyone. So as far as notch not listening to the community on suggestions, I think it would be better that way. Bugs are easily provided to them from the wiki also.

posted a message on Stop it.
In all honesty, I like the game as it is too. I have never seen anything actually wrong with minecraft since i first bought it which was maybe September 12, 2010. I pretty much support all of Notch's and Jeb's choices only because it doesn't really change the way I have been playing since alpha, besides the hunger bar and animals not respawning.

I see many people hate enchantments and potions and I simply didn't use them until recently. The end? I haven't even attemted to look for a stronghold yet. Hunger? Yes it does affect gameplay but it's really not that hard to farm. Game is too easy? If that was my issue I would just use weaker weapons, eat certain foods, not wear any armor (like now), and just set self goals that are more challenging than current ones.

I'm not trying to really tell anyone to just "deal with it" but simply, there's a solution to everything. As I said before, I can care less if they change minecraft or leave it as it is because I enjoy it and none of the updates have truely changed my play style (maybe changed up my experience though). It would help if this was taken to Mojang directly though instead of the forums (which I do understand that it could potentially help out recognition).

Just thought I'd throw that out there seeing as I rarely post (long time lurker though).

I'm just going to look at them as friendly neighbors. Then we're even going to have sleepovers with junk food, video games, and spooky stories and even get to stay up until 10pm. It's going to be soooo fun.
