posted a message on Modding on multiplayer...
I read in a different thread that you can get in trouble for modding multiplayer. Is this for modding someone else' server, or your own as well? And if you can get in trouble for modding your own server, why is that?

I hope you backed up your files like they said to. Although it might just be your minecraft.jar file. I'm not expert but i would delete your bin folder and rerun minecraft(this will not affect your saves, minecraft will simply download a new bin folder.) if that doesn't work then its a problem with your saves and the only answer to that is... they said to back them up.

I too have the food thing, but I'm wondering if its intentional that the skeletons all of the sudden cant shoot worth crap. I'm not 100% sure its your mod that's doing this or not, as i installed humans not long before. But I'm pretty sure it's yours lol.

posted a message on Problem returning to nether
    Quote from Mixmaster1190 »
The nether is 8 blocks apart from the real world. For example, if you put a portal in the real world and go to the nether, then move 5 blocks away and make a new portal, you will be 40 blocks away from your first portal. If you create a portal to close to another in the real world, 2 portals will be linked to the one in the nether. So when you go in the nether and use the same portal, u might be in the different one from which you entered. To fix this, delete one of the two portals in the real world that you do not want to spawn out from, so there is one portal linked to one portal, like it should be.
So for your sake, delete your first portal, or portal a. Then there will be only one portal in the real world and in the nether to warp in and out of. Or if you need portal a. delete only one obsidian block from it, so if you need it back you can put the last obsidian block where it needs to go and relight with flint and steel.

I appreciate the help, but my two portals in the nether are at least 80 blocks away from eachother. Not very close at all. And I would like both of them to work.

I created a portal inside the nether, for the sake of conversation we will call it portal b. it took me to a cave somewhere. when i exited via the cave portal, it returned me to my first portal, rather than portal b. i tried reconstructing the portal in a different spot further away from portal a, but it took me to the same cave and returned me to portal a. any tips?
