The instructions for installing resonant engine are unclear. Do we need just core or do we need dev or api? But just the core makes the most sense and it works fine until resonant induction is added so is something missing in the instructions for resonant induction?
The newest versions available at time of posting this are
resonant engine 153 and resonant induction 162 and UE 4.0.0.83 Forge multipart 1.1.0297
I'm not sure how to debug this, as I can't reproduce this at all. It happens for every world you start? Can you try starting a world with only The Spice of Life installed and seeing if it still happens then?
I have started a world in creative with only your mod and harder peaceful using MC 1.7.10 Forge build 1208. Got the materials out of the creative menu, changed the mode to survival and staying in peaceful ran around until I could eat something. But the food journal still says nothing eaten recently. See if you can reproduce that.
P.S. I checked the config and "B:clear.history.after.food.eaten.threshold.reached=false"
You didn't answer my question. So the book doesn't keep track of what you have eaten until diminishing returns kicks in? I don't want to be leading you on a snipe hunt.
I am playing single player. Here are the SpiceOfLife lines in the last log. A search of the log for the word "history" finds nothing.

What Minecraft version are you using? What version of the mod are you using? Do the tooltips update? Has it ever worked for you before? What are you eating? I need as much information as you can give me so that I can attempt to reproduce the bug.
I am using MC 1.7.10 and eating things like cookies, carrots, cooked potatoes, bread. This is the first time using your mod. By tool tip update I am guessing you mean an update on the info when I hover over the food and the answer is I have seen no change in them either. They just say "diminishing returns starts after eating a food 6 times." I am pretty sure I have eaten more than six cookies but not that I have eaten 6 in a row. So the book doesn't keep track of what you have eaten until diminishing returns kicks in?
What do you mean by 'it doesn't update'? The mod should behave as normal in peaceful mode (I do most of my testing in peaceful).
I mean that I eat food and nothing is recorded in journal. It always says, no food eaten recently.
Ok, still trying to brainstorm why this isn't working for me. Is it a problem that I start the world in creative and then switch to survival using the command "gamemode 0".
My food journal isn't working. It doesn't update. Are you aware of any mod incompatabilities? I will check if enhanced books or bibliocraft is the culprit.
Nope that wasn't it.
I took everything except harder peaceful and it still didn't work. I am not interested in testing it without that. So maybe that is it. I suppose you wrote the mod assuming that in peaceful mode it didn't need to do anything.
A dimension mod like this should be made to work well with other mods. I have had endless problems with this. id conflicts that your mod provides no way of resolving. One of these was an entity id conflict that couldn't be fixed on either side. This is a mod that will have to wait either for these fixes or the unlikely case of finding other mods that are coincidentally compatible. For example, I am sure you can use a more dynamic way of handling the entity ids, which first looks for an id number which hasn't been assigned, and yes a config file for the block and item ids is also needed.
However I did try installing it on its own and there was an unpleasant stuttering every few seconds. That is another thing that an update needs to fix before I would find this playable.
PS. I am talking about a MC1.7.2 version which the modinfo identifies as version 3.0
Good. Mod didn't change any blocks or affect world generation. It's just hook on "bucket use" event and "block break" event.
Yeah, I have begun to notice some very odd things happening when you dig a hole underneath a body of water. I think that part might need a little adjustment -- so much water draining down into such a little hole.
It is true that I mostly play Forge mod combos and little effort has been made to make these of Risugami forge compatible. The expansion of ids to 4095 for blocks and 32767 for items by Forge allows the making of much larger mod combos.
But I decided to update my Risugami combo to a modloader only combo for MC1.6.2 and look for other mods that were compatible.
I did run into one snag. The config file for one or more of the Risugami mods do not work, i.e. doesn't change the id assigned to the block. I only know for sure that it didn't work for the floodgate mod. But that was the first id conflict with this mod I tried to add, and since the changing the id in the config didn't work I had to leave that mod out. However, for all I know, if that one had worked I would have found a different conflict after that one was fixed, where changing the idea in the next config would not work.
Yeah watched video. Video is cool. But I still need and explanation because mod doesn't do what the video implies.
Does it only work with glass, or what? Does it depend on the height? what...?
I mean I put down water with my bucket and it stll behaves like an infinite water source. So what does this mod do, exactly?
And what does the "use bucket remotely" mean?
Oh and by the way I am using the 1.6.4 version.
...
...
Ohhh..!! I finally get it.
This just lets you pick up water from the flowing water (removing the source block in the process). The video really makes it look like it is doing something else.
So does anybody know if the alchemy box and all the types of steel in essential craft 1 were anything but show? We never did get any explanation about any recipes for the alchemy box and no explanation how these other metals were made. And now we have a completely different mod called essential craft 2 with these removed completely. How much of the new version is also just for show? How much of it also doesn't do anything and never will?
I did figure out how to make brass in the alchemy box: gold iron iron (ingots) But trying to guess the recipes for steel and hellfire steel seems hopeless -- to many possible combinations.
Ребята что такое не могу запустить java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ic2/api/energy/tile/IEnergySource
cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: EssentialCraftProject/common/TileEntities/TileEntityMRUGenerator
I am having the same problem. I wonder if your mod now has a dependency on ic2.
OK I tried with ic2 build 397 but get the same error. Beginning to wonder if 67B is not even for MC1.6.4 or maybe the DummyCore link needs to be updated?
rolled back to the essentialcraft2v3.1.164.12b and that seems to work (don't need ic2 either).
yeah me too. NEI is invaluable for resolving ID conflicts but I cannot STAND having it in while I am playing the game it is just too overpowering. But even the recipe interface just isn't as convenient as crafting guide.
