Well. my computer just crashed again. This time i was only running Skype and the internet. no minecaft, no games. As soon as i started my computer back up i checked the event logs and the only thing i found moments before the crash was 2 warnings. one was event id 1530 and another of id 4001. The 1530 one was from windows profile service. the other was from WLAN auto config saying "WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully stopped."
when i read the event logs. all it had was a bunch of warnings for MacCafe trying to run after i had set it to not run on startup because i had gotten a different antivirus software to use. I did this while these crashes have been occuring.
You should try unplugging your internet and then playing Minecraft. If your computer doesn't shut down anymore, you're probably hacked or someone connected to your net is messing with you.
I've played minecraft Offline. and it has happened while my internet was off.
if you are using MCPatcher you need to make sure you are using it BEFORE INSTALLING A MOD. alot of people dont know that... you mightve just installed it wrong or something. So what i would do is BACKUP your '.minecraft' folder and then delete your Bin folder and the mcpatcher XML document. run minecraft to let it redownload the Bin folder. And if you really need to patch minecraft for some reason you neeeeeedd to make sure that Mcpatcher is for that snapshot!!! And make sure the toomanyitems mod is for THAT snapshot!(alot of people install old stuff and complain for minecraft not working). then use Mcpatcher if it is up to date. close it and then install toomanyitems. then you are good.
When installing a mod, regaurdless of if its a snapshot or anything. ONLY MODIFY the original 'minecraft.jar' not the other. Also is there an error message?
I have around 60fps on normal and fancy graphics. I dont need optifine. And besides ive already tried that anyway. I Have a 32bit java... ive also tried 64 bit as said in the original post.
Click the start icon. Type in the search box 'System Information' click it when it appears. It will show you all of your PC specs.
ALSO i thought that i might add that i had litterally the same issue you have. Now my minecraft doesnt work and i think i need a new graphics card to play it. 1 thing you can do to stop the crashing however is download MCpatcher and run it as administrator, Wait for it to open then Analyze your minecraft.jar folder. when its done you will notice the 5 tabs: Mods, options, log, class map, patch summary. > click options then in the box under the tabs next to where it says Java Heap Sizes enter 1024. if that is already there, then enter 2048. Go back to the mods tab then hit patch. wait for it to finish then run minecraft:D hope this helped. If it didnt then search youtube for USING MCPATCHER
the other ones get pushed down page after page and you are the only one answering... sorry that i wanted an answer from the rest of the community? I did. All i could find was a bunch of errors from MacCafe. thats it. nothing to cause a shut down though

Also deleted my antivirus to see if that was conflicting with minecraft and causing it to crash my computer with No Result! >I've been playing minecraft since about Minecraft beta 1.4 . But i have Directx10 and it wont let me install Directx11 for some reason. That doesnt concern me though because i hardly play that game anymore. The crashing of my computer also happens to TERRARIA.
