Thanks guys, I'm going to have to figure out how to edit biome or find resource pack or figure out how to move grass?

About a year ago or so an update changed the nice bright green grass into this ugly pukey yellowy green colour, and so back then my son helped me fix it by putting a colour file with the bright green into one of the minecraft folders.

Wasn't on our server for a couple of months and today when we went on the colour is back to that pukey green grass. I'm assuming the latest update screwed up the grass?

Does anyone know a way I can get back my bright green grass. I got my son to try the same thing he did last time but it hasn't worked.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Just went on my server which I hadn't been on for a while and found that the grass was back to that ugly yellowy green colour.

Before I corrected it by placing a colour file in a folder, but for some reason it's back to that terrible pukey green.

Anyone know a fix?

it says "New plan: 1.6.4 (yes, four) will be released very shortly, followed by a snapshot. The diff between 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 is extremely minor."

No word on whether it will be compatible with 1.6.2 servers or not, but since there are no game play changes, just stay on 1.6.2 until 1.7 (and then save your worlds in 1.6.4 before updating)

but I wasn't given the option to update, I just logged in and it was 1.6.4 automatically?

I would add the crafting of jewellery, using diamonds, gold, emeralds, etc. and then you can wear the jewellery

I don't want to upgrade to 1.2 unless I know it's not going to "break" the server I play on. Last time I upgraded to 1.1 I couldn't play on the server and had to downgrade to 1.0.

I've forgotten, does minecraft give you an option to upgrade or does it automatically do it when you log in? (I kind of remember a screen that asked "do you want to upgrade now?" but I'm not so sure?

I just paid for another minecraft, clicked on the "purchase as gift" button at minecraft.net

I have mine that I purchased a year ago, and also my son purchased one before me.

So today I wanted to gift it to a friend.

Went to paypal, paid, and all I got was an email to my email account, but there was no code in the email???

What do I do next?

1. Check that your login info is correct( sounds stupid I know, but it happens to all of us)
2. Make sure your firewall settings are able to accept Minecraft.
3. Download a new Minecraft. To do this, go to your roaming folder on your pc, open .minecraft, and delete the "bin" folder. Then startup minecraft and let it download again.
