hi everyong minecraft_man123 hear, my MCpatcher is not working! overtime i open it an error happens ( There was an error opening mine craft.jar. this may be because:
-the file has already been patched.
-there was an update that this patcher cannot handle.
- there is another, conflicting mod applied.
-the jar file is invalid or corrupt.)
I recently just bought Minecraft and when I run the Minecraft.exe and log in, it begins to download the files but when it gets to "Retrieving minecraft.jar 86%" it just gives me this error "Fatal error occured (4): null" when trying to download minecraft. Are the servers overloaded or is it my computer?
About 10 minutes ago i was browsing the forums when a pop up with some mumbo jumbo about a special offer for an ipad or something. Also on the bottom it said it was supported by minecraftforum.net. So was just wondering if the sites been having issues lately, or if anyone else got this popup and/or is it dangerous(links to virus, phisher, etc.)? Thx in advance

This is an epic 1.8 seed I discovered while typing in random things. You spawn on a tall mountain overlooking a nice canyon type thing and an NPC village.
I'm 90% sure its an absolute spawn seed, but in case it isn't here are the coords I spawned at (tested it 3 times)

Strongholds:
I have located one of the three strongholds (quite by accident)
It does not appear to have a surface entrance, so you will have to dig straight down at

It is located near an NPC village and a lava pond, (see below)

Very nice double ravine interlaced with a mineshaft. There is also a chest with 2 diamonds.

While exploring, I found a huge mineshaft by digging straight down. I landed in the most epic cave I have ever seen - with tons of lava and water falls everywhere, huge ceilings and exposed diamonds.
