One thing that has been getting on my nerves. is it just me or with every update is there more CPU usage?
IDK if i'm having a compatibility issue with my torch/lamp mod or what, but my CPU usage goes up to 98% and my game freezes every 30 seconds-1 min
it started doing this when i updated last time, and now with 5.5 it's just locking minecraft up for 60+ seconds at a time!
i have an old ('03) gateway box and it's crap, i know it is, but one reason i like minecraft was it wasn't that bad to run and it was still hella fun... at first... that's why i sought something like this mod out. back in 3.3b when i first got it, my minecraft ran fine, just villages were there. now it's freaking out to the point i'm either going to have to roll back to a previous release like 4.x or uninstall...
If you're having problems on the latest version. Then revert back. It always says backup your minecraft folder anyway. the best version is 5.4b because of the lumberman fix and some improvements to pathing.
Oh man, these koi are gorgeous! Looking forward to testing out this mod. And what do you mean no one was using the dogs? I was using the corgi! :biggrin.gif: The proportions on it were way more accurate than simply throwing the texture into Minecraft alone would have been, and I for one very much appreciated the work that had gone into the dog mod. So please, don't get too discouraged by the naysayers. I have this thread bookmarked because I greatly enjoy viewing the progress, between your wonderful coding and your wife's lovely texturing. You're a great team. :smile.gif:
Huzzah way to go!!
That's 100% right, so as for kerik n Persnkity Keep on modding you two.. :smile.gif:
eh, does burning down a tavern, breaking a few windows and destroying the chests to steal the cider to then sell back to the villagers lead to an entity update errors for anyone else?
placing the chests called: building back did not work.
well if you know about the french region of normandy wich at some time was home to the normans *gasp* who where part of england and brought a lot of french influence into the english language when thingy whasisname the ******* became king instead of the other dude or that viking dude, combined with them making norman tapestries and castles and buildings its actually pretty obvious, they basicly they are vikings who life in france but are english wich is why all their buildings are french,
pretty much vikings that collonized france
north-men->normans
also I went full viking on them wich is why I am here :sad.gif:
Actually breaking the main chests of each building will mess up your millénaire village.. :smile.gif: have fun.
mod wont work with everything done according to instructions.
ive deleted the bin folder a number of times to get this to work with no success.
Minecraft loads up to a black screen.
beginning to think its hardly worth the time, frustration or effort.
Anybody have any idea??
Should I use v4 of modloader?
what?? you deleted your bin folder??? LoL :laugh.gif:
You should open the bin folder right click minecraft.jar open with 7zip/WinRar and delete meta-inf folder.and yes preferably use modloaderv4
What is he doing when this happens (what is he holding)? Can you see what he is targeting?
as for me this happens when he's out planting then gets stuck on one sapling then he spins around. second, when there's no tree's yet he stops by a sapling as if waiting for a sapling to grow.
aww.. I was upset too that notch made doodles for a floating realm. yet there's the epic aether mod with just freaking bugs getting on the way. :sad.gif:
still.. Waiting for the new update release.. :smile.gif:
I got rid of all my other mods to make sure. And yes, they are in the right locations

Did you install modloaderVersion4??
Start with a new world with the seed b. and try walking around new chunks the messages will show up sooner.
I've installed the mod as instructed, but I'm not getting the message on start up. I checked the FAQs on the wiki, and the only solution is not working
It worked! I really need something that pops up and tells me there's an updated version of a mod I have installed. It would've saved me the headache I've had for the past two hours trying to get it to work. XD
Thanks for your help minami26 :smile.gif:
it's a common incompatibility issue for millénaire, otherwise no problem. :biggrin.gif:
Cheers for the response. I understand the difficulties maintaining legacy stuff, sadly. Next time I'll pay more attention to the red warnings in the changelog.
And managed to delete the town and create a new one quite ok. Fingers crossed this one won't suffer an abrupt end! :wink.gif:
It won't if you keep loyal to your village and not be tempted with the new versions. :biggrin.gif: hahaha..
Now I can trade with the shopkeeper but it crashes when I open my inventory because TooManyItems says it has to be installed after Zombe's modpack because it replaces one of the class files. However doing that means I can't trade with the shopkeeper.....help please!
Are you using the may10 version of toomanyitems.. ?
Had the same problem, you probably did not follow the order needed for installing.. the wiki has the correct order of installing modloader and millenaire.
My problem:
I keep getting the not enough space error, the thing is the municipal archives are the problem now- and they do NOT have a distance parameter in their building plans.
What can I do? my village radius is already at 105m, and again, I read the wiki and tried everything there already. PLEASE kinniken or jimmijam
are you making space for them to build?? you need a big space do not just make a space enough for the building. try about 50x50 for each space issue. or level the whole village exterior.

Note: You have to search and Read thoroughly in order for you to find the fix. Do not just Ask away immediately you'll never help yourself that way.
